Weekes and Dunhum aren't spectacular but both goalies are descent enough to keep this low scoring - not to mention both teams are just STRUGGLING to score a goal. The 'Canes have only scored 4 goals in their 3 games this season, while the Rangers have scored only 3. Unless some lines start clicking - I can't see 6 or more goals being scored here.

Toronto Maple Leafs/Montreal Canadiens Under 5 +115
Leafs are 3-0 on the UNDER and have played very good defensive hockey ever since they lost to Montreal last weekened (only conceeding 2 goals in both their games against the Devils and Capitals). Likewise, the Habs have played much better after their lost in their opening game versus Ottawa. The Canadiens have only allowed 2 goals in their last 3 games. Chances are this game might push - but I'll take my chances on the UNDER since its a bitter rivalry between these two (historic) teams - not to mention its on Hockey Night in Canada. Should be a defensive tilt especially with goaltenders in Theodre and Belfour.

The UNDER has hit 4 out of 5 times between the Blackhawks and the Thrashers. The UNDER is 2-1 for the Blackhawks and the UNDER is 3-1 for the Thrashers this season. Nurminen has a 1.45 GAA and a .946 SV%; while Thibault has a 2.02 GAA and a .937 SV%. Should be a close tight checking game - probably a 2-1 or 3-1 type game here folks!

Avalanche's offense might be too much for Salo and the Oilers defense... A lot of value with the Avs lineup of Sakic, Forsberg, Kariya, Selanne, Tanguay, Hejduk - not too mention their potent powerplay (ranked 4th in the league)! Its just sick!
