well boys, the NJ line doesnt seem to be a mistake anymore. it just went from pick em to phi -125, and i havent even played it. philly will win this series, and so will sj, and then i will feast on those ribs, thanks to my old pal donny baby

its going to be a 6000 calorie meal, but i will certainly enjoy it. i just will have to work harder that day in the gym to burn it off.

donny boy, i know only a few scalpers in the city that will have tix for the games, but if you are willing to pay the price, no prob. but i am warning you, they will be costly. dont forget, this is mtl, and you are asking for habs tix, not expos. the frenchmens are nuts here for their tricolore. i aint going. id rather stay home, watch my spos on tv and see the flyers whip the devils.

well donny boy, I can taste those ribs now. My mouth is watering now just thinking about them. My 2 teams won tonight, and I am confident they will win the series. I know it is still early to talk, but boy oh boy, those ribs are making me drool just the thought of them. I can't wait till you buy me that meal. You better hope for the split now donny boy. I don't think I am going to eat again till the two series are over. I want to be really really hungry for this one so I think I just might starve myself. Remember Donny, it's all you can eat ribs. I got these plays from a triple sharp hockey guy I use. I also consider Sick G to be quite sharp in hockey. In fact I would put Sick G up against any capper on the Net.

NewJersey is NOT going to put out the effort neccessary, they know what it takes, and they are not in the mood this year to go through that.

Colorado does not need Karyia, Forsberg and Sakic are the best.

if you actually bet all those 8 series, you are looking great. Man, if you wanna sell me those series bets, I will buy them off you right now at 20 cents on the dollar. IOW, if you have those 8 series of 1000 each, I'll give you 1600 for them and you can walk away winning no matter what. Whatever the case may be, i will give you 20 cents on the dollar for all.

You are picking em nicely i must admit. Good job. Geez, if you keep this up, we might make you the official Hockeyguru of RX. We already have one at MW and his name is Hockeyguru, but if you keep this up, you might become the new Hockeyguru and replace him. All I have is Philly and SJ in the series for a decent amount, and Colorado for a small amount.. I wish I had a lot more on Colorado, but the absence of Kariya scared me a bit. Yet at -140 for the series, minus Kariya was still a joke. That line should have been -175/+155, even without Kariya, and -200/+170 with Kariya. Kariya cannot be worth more than 20-25 cents more. Colorado is already filled with talent, they don't need Kariya. They've always been a tremendous playoff team.

Good luck to you and who knows, maybe you'll go 8-0 in the first round. Wouldn't that be something..

i know billy boy, i know that all the games had 1 game played already, but I trust Railbird is being honest. He did actually put in 1 team in there out of the 8 series that were already trailing 1-0 in the series, and that was Calgary..

But even Calgary won yesterday. I guess we just have to take Railbird for his word. I don't read all the posts here of lately, so maybe he did mention in some posts who he likes in the series. Maybe we can make a search to see if he did mention these teams or not. If not, even though all the games had 1 game in them played, I will still give the kid credit. I don't think he'd be stupid enough to do this, UNLESS he does this all the time. I don't know if he does.

It just would be nice if people didn't past-post predictions. Maybe saying you have so and so is one thing, but come on full on predictions? Not to mention, if someone wanted to back Rail because he does fairly well with his timely predictions, it does little good after game one since the odds became pretty high in most cases.

well donny boy, I am really starting to taste those ribs more and more each day. My 2 teams are up 2-0 in the series and it's looking very positive that you will be taking your old pal Sick Gambler for an all you can eat ribs dinner with a pitcher or 2 of beer. You are lucky i am not a big drinker, so this meal won't hurt you as much..

Folks, when i saw that SJ line at -180, i knew it was off. That line should have been -270, easily. And a lot doubted the Flyers, and I even predicted that the Flyers will make a run for the cup and perhaps even take home Lord Stanley. This will be the year of the Flyers. All my 3 teams are up 2-0 in the series now, including Colorado, although I only have a small bit on Colorado. I made a big mistake not betting Boston. I had them at -220 and they opened up at -170. I should be sweeping 4 series now, not 3. I always love these playoff lines because I enjoy taking this free money every year with these wacky numbers. I should be making these lines for these books, no joke. If any book wants to hire me to make the lines for hockey next year, you know how to contact me. I must say that I work for no less than $300,000 USD a year and I want 6 weeks vacation paid between December and January.

I want medical insurance, dental insurance and a big christmas bonus (you know how much I love bonuses

)I also expect my food and house paid by the book. And you can throw in a few girls my way too. Plus, I want 20% of the winnings in hockey. So you know how to reach me bookies, if you're interested.

Both my teams are now up 3-1 and are coming home. I am even winning my avs 3-1 in the series. I cannot lose in these playoffs, I am on a role with this free money. These easy series bets is easier money than cash bonuses anyday.

If you want, why don't we just make it for this week instead of waiting till the series is over seeing we already know what the end result will be. I can't wait to sit with you donny and talk gambling and eat those ribs and drink that pitcher of beer on you. I don't see how you can say that -125/+105 is off. Even if I was wrong and you were right at -110, I'd only be 15 cents off, which is still close. But I think I won't be off by too much. Anyhow, both of us should NEVER have made this prediction this early, and here is why. If Phi win next game by a large margin, and Bos lose the next 2 by blowouts and then win Game 7 in triple OT, then a rested Philly will be favored over Bos at maybe -140/+120. BUT... if Boston blowout the HABS next game and win in 5, and PHI struggles and go to Game 7 and squeak out a win, then you can expect the rested Bruins to be an even higher fav over a tired Philly by maybe -145. So I think it is premature to make the call now as it will all depend on what will go on in the next few games. I will come up with the official prediction of that series right after they're both decided. I think it's too early to call it now.

SJ is a very strong team. I don't know who will be in the Stanely Cup finals, but SJ could easily be one of them, and the AVS being the other. One of these 2 teams will face the Philadelphia Flyers for the chance to hoist Lord Stanley. I am still picking the Flyers to go all the way.

SJ is definitely a great pick too. They just don't get any respect by the oddsmakers. They are very very underrated and are a great team indeed. How the hell could they have only been a -175 favorite over the lowly Blues who had a horrible season and didn't even deserve to make the playoffs. Picking SJ in each game can only bring you value at its finest.
