Thats fine and dandy, but they dont call it the Canadian Hockey League, they call it the National Hockey League, since its base is in United States, or its supposed base. All of the money is in the states and if nobody here in the states watches the league is dead.

If they just got out of the US and did a Canada only leageu it'd be better for them because people care about hockey in Canada, and not in the US.

Nobodys going to watch the games tonight, you and I both know it. At least nobody here, where the league is based, and ran.

I am a big Hockey fan, and I am also disappointed in the scheduling for tonight's games, but I did check and I found I do have NHL TV channel (big surprise to me), so I will be switching back and forth tonight.

I think the NHL is still recovering from the missed season due to the strike - it is going to take awhile longer before things get better with the TV situation. I miss the days of ESPNs coverage.

Be patient guys, things will get better.

:toast:

it seems like the nhl is sinking further into an abyss as opposed to digging itself out doesnt it?

I suck at betting, so I actually have to work. At an office. Everyday. Then I go back again, on Monday. Sounds nice.

Last night’s Game Seven between the Penguins and Capitals registered a 24.97 rating on FSN Pittsburgh, according to Nielsen Media Research, marking the third straight game that the station broke it’s own record.

Game 5 drew a rating of 21.2, while Game 6 drew a 24.2.

Those three games were the highest-rated events ever carried by the local network and were the most viewed hockey games ever on any FSN regional sports network throughout the country.

Tuesday night’s Detroit-Anaheim NHL playoff game was the fifth-most watched Red Wings telecast in the 12-year history of Fox Sports Detroit.

The game drew a 13.5 rating in Metro Detroit (260,145 households), making it the most-watched show in the market on Tuesday night. The top four:

1. Red Wings vs. Ducks, Fox Sports Detroit (13.5 rating)

2. American Idol, FOX (13.2)

3. The Biggest Loser, NBC (10.2)

4. Dancing With the Stars, ABC (9.6)

Not bad for a game that started after 10:00pm ET.

LOL! This queer doesn't have anyone to listen to his drivel at home and thinks he's entertaining someone other than himself in here. He's get's the same reaction in every forum he frequents here at the RX. Check out the political forum and look at the abuse they give him over there. 100-1 he's never laced um up a day in his life.

Really? What is your source for that info? Wet dreams?

"On November 22, 1917, in Montreal, the National Hockey League was formed. Originally composed only of a few Canadian teams..."

I thought you said nobody there watches already. But the leaque
isn't dead. Even after the USA is nuked & annihilated by Russian
and ME bombs, the NHL will be alive and well in God's cuntry.

If they just got out of the US and did a Canada only leageu it'd be better for them because people care about hockey in Canada, and not in the US.

There's tons of interest in the N. USA. And has been for decades.

I watched the best game of the playoffs tonight and am now catching the 3rd period of the other game 7. The 2 game 7's tonight were not even a factor as this depressed rocket scientist proclaimed. Something tells me this bird with the broken wing will fly away in a day or so and he'll go down as the idiot with the complex. I bet he's a small person. they like to act important at times.

Mr. Mainstream LOL.

reminded me a little of Eric the Midget.
