Yes sir! Thanks for catching!I assume that's a typo and the bet size is 374.
Generally speaking, it's a POWER vs PIG philosophy. There's usually a good reason the ML is set so high. And if a trend is also present - I don't have any trouble laying the high vig. However, as I've done at times, when the Power vs Pig is so overwhelming (say Buffalo on the road vs the Kings), I'll lower the vig and take the puck line. Often you can actually be on the plus side of the vig doing that.I've been tailing you for the past few weeks and you've been doing great! Only question I have... the wagers you place on high ML teams (like the one posted today). At those lines you'd have to hit I'm figuring 60-65% (depending on the ave ML amount on those high ones). I've never layed that much juice on anything before and personally skip those plays when you post. However... historically speaking, have they treated you well over the course of the past few seasons? I normally lay -135 or lower for other sports and even at that it's once in a while... however I don't know shiet about hockey so perhaps hockey is different and you can get away with laying the high vig over the long run bc perhaps heavy favorites are more of a sure thing?
Also, I usually don't go very high on a 1-5 scale straight ML bet in NHL. So many games are so close and determined by a hair or two one way or the other by the goalie. I'm much more likely to lay a 5* ML large vig bet in the NBA. Not many pigs beat power teams - especially on the road - in the NBA. 76ers a great example. Or #1 seeds in the NCAA Tourney. But you HAVE to have the bankroll for that.Generally speaking, it's a POWER vs PIG philosophy. There's usually a good reason the ML is set so high.
