Ottawa is looking rather ordinary and I'm begining to think that 16.5 is going to be difficult. I only saw the first period as I was switching between the TB/NJ game and Atl/Car, (as well as the Det/Van). Damn these ten games all at the same time and I have only one set of eyes.
The Devil/Bolts game was playoff hockey at it's best. NJ totaly took TB out of their game and were like glue anytime one of the Bolts got near a puck. Great effort on both sides and really got me looking forward to the post season.
But Tampa Bay, once again, showed me that they are the chosen ones and again pulled out a victory from the jaws of defeat. They are the '02 Angels of this year's NHL. I just checked out their remaining schedule and grabbed them at +550 to win the east. I recommend that wager highly.
And talk about being blessed. I pulled out a push on the Atl/Car game with a short handed tying goal with 12 seconds left in the game and after break aways left and right in the O.T. it came down to a winning goal by Carolina with .1 seconds remaining. Amazing third period and overtime. The Thrashers are play some kind of exciting hockey right now.
