This is the best greenbay defense they have had since reggie white days imo. Deep, young, healthy, and fast.
Respectfully, they do have a good defense but they gave up well over 500 yards of offense to San Diego ... at home. Rivers torched their secondary for 500+ yards. With whatever bias you want to take out of this I have been watching the Broncos for fifty-five years. This is the best defense they have ever had and yes better than the Packers. They have at least four pro bowlers in Ware, Miller, Talib and Harris. Their depth is also acceptional. They have been disparaged for being the worst 6-0 team in the league. None of their wins has been by a big margin but in each case they have found a way to win whether it be in overtime, a fumble returned for a game winning touchdown or a long drive for a game winning field goal. Their adversity has given them a mentality that may differ from that of the Packers or Patriots who have pretty much cruised to their undefeated records. Really, don't have a prediction for this game other than it will not be a rout.

I think the Jets are due for a stinker. Truth is, they can afford to slip. They have no real chance at the division, but will have a strong chance at a wild card even if they lose -- they play Jax, Mia, Hou and Buff the next 4 weeks. They get to play the AFC South this year, which means they will see Houston and the Titans. I think the Jets could well lose on Sunday and still be 8-3 in a month.

Looks like most of the forum is on the Jets this week. I'm just unsure how they will move the ball consistently. Rivers at home couldn't move the chains for 3 quarters on that D. Jets without Mangold against a top 5 rush defense on the road, gonna be tough to move the chains. This one is gonna be close and ugly I Feel like. If Raiders play clean they should win SU.

It's not the end for them if they lose, but every W makes it much easier done the grinding road. Just going by the match up and the previous 6 games I'm playing the Jets. Oakland could get it done. Almost a toss up until it jumped to 3 the last couple days.

Rivers and company got so far down they had to pass almost every down. San Diego D can't stop anyone right now. Jets D is much better. Oakland rush D is also very tough. But they have been vulnerable through the air. I haven't bought all the way into Oakland yet. Their W's are over 3 teams with a combined record of 5-16. One of their losses was to a 2-4 team who hadn't won a game at the time. This will be their chance to prove it, and they are going to have to prove it to me as I like the Jets in this one.

7-3 and two pushes

Congrats to everyone that played Oak. I was really off base in that one, not giving the Raiders enough credit. Very, very good call Raider backers.

Monday:

Carolina -6 1/2 -115 (1)
will tease this game if it goes to -7 taking the Colts +14 & under for (1)
will post it as soon as I can get it

Carolina has been really good at home going 15-7-1 ATS in its last 23 games.
The total has gone UNDER in 7 of Carolina's last 9 games at home.
Colts haves struggled this season and are 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Carolina and have gone UNDER in 11 last 14 games. The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Indianapolis's last 8 games on the road.

I'm going to play the teaser because of the PT game and I do think pride will come out for the Colts and keep this game with in 14. Carolina will pound the ball and the Colts once again will try to establish the run. I just think a lot of clock will be eaten. I'm shooting for a win both ways.

Good call on the Denver game last night! I really thought the Packers would play better than that.

On CAR thinking the exact same thing. Spread records + home field indicate a CAR bet for anything under a touch down. Anything 7+ looks like a nice spot to pick the underdog. BOL tonight!

It's dropped down to -6, I don't think were going to see 7 anymore. If it stay like that then I'll have to go with Indy and the under on a 6 pt tease.
