Sunday: 4-4 -0.43U

Denver -7 -107
6 1/2 point TEASE Denver -.5 & OVER 36.5 -110

I don't think I have ever taken a Monday Night heavy public road favorite before but there is always a first I guess. If I took the Bengals to be contrarian tonight & lost, I would be more upset than I will losing these plays. I could write a book about the mismatch. The Bengals undersized and porous run defense is a dream matchup for Denver. The Broncos will run at rookie MLB Caleb Miller all night. Stacking the box and run blitzing could backfire with Denver's solid pass protection & the fact that Cincy has 2 regulars in the secondary out with injuries. Palmer has been knocked down more than any QB in the league and he has been sacked 9 times in 2 home games. The Broncos love to blitz and they will do so in an effort to rattle Palmer. This is where the loss of Peter Warrick hurts because the underneath passing game struggles without him. Opposing QB's are averaging 7.97 Yards per attempt versus Cincy which means they are pushing the ball downfield with ease, especially at Deltha O'Neal. Denver should be able to shut down Cincy's struggling running game because Champ Bailey can cover CJ one on one and none of the other Bengal WRs warrant double teams. Forcing Palmer to throw the ball should present some turnovers and short fields for Denver. Plummer's requirement is to just manage the offense and play mistake free. Cincy should do enough to implode on their side of the ball.

Good luck!!!!!!

I liked the Steeler's chances much better before they lost Hampton & Scott. This will be their first game without them so tough to call. I just think betting against New England in general is asking for trouble. I will likely just be a fan at this game.

LetsRoll, don't know if Roethlisberger has seen a defense like the Pats....might see if Steelers can get a few more points and then consider it. Pats have to lose (or not cover) sometime, but many people will tell you to keep riding a trend until it plays out.

Hey WV I like your avatar the best...I was sitting in a trance and forgot what I was going to say...

Oh yeah, El I don't think the Steelers will cover next week. I played the pats @ -3 a week ago. You're right, Ben has yet to see a defense like New England has. He came in against Baltimore in his first game when Maddox was injured and looked bad...that is the only time he looked bad all season. Granted, they just threw him in and it was against Baltimore's D. Ben will also have an extra week to prepare and he is an intelligent guy for sure. But 3 points is real generous for this Pittsburgh team right now. I don't think they will end the streak or cover the 3. I hate betting against them, but oh well, I'm trying to make some money!

Might not be a bad tease, Steelers & OVER. NE was averaging 27 a game before yesterday, and Steelers score at home. I do like the Steelers to keep it within 9, or maybe 10 if the Pats-backers drive the line up by gametime!
