If NE is worth anything whatsoever they beat the Jets with the worst QB in the league. Basically dominated Wilson twice last year, he shouldn’t be in the nfl.

The only thing Id say is situational setup wise is that with Rodgers injury, this is basically the Jets superbowl. To drill NE to 0-3 in such a make or break year for them would be the highlight of their year (as I’m sure it’ll get much worse after this)

But you just have to fade Zach Wilson and get it over with. It’ll be the full 3 by Sunday or I’m surprised.

I don’t disagree with anything you posted, but I really like the Jets this week. I was kind of high on NE entering the season, it’s only two weeks, but I’m starting to think I was simply wrong.

I thought the defense would be excellent and they’ve looked pretty mediocre. Miami, a terrible rushing offense, gutting them when they knew it was coming and the game was on the line, was surprising. Losing two at home to open the season and one in the division, a very difficult division, they may be toast. Philly/Miami no easy task though, but I tend lean towards both of them being somewhat overrated.

Jones isn’t the answer, can’t run the ball, can’t protect, no weapons. It may be a long, long year. I’m probably over reacting a bit, I unloaded on NE ML last week in a must win situation for the Pats and they looked completely lost in all phases, including coaching. At least they do get to face Z Wilson, he’s unbelievably bad. I expect we’ll see a lot more of Hall in this one, that guy is electric. If NE doesn’t sure up the rushing offense/defense, it could be long day. They are allowing nearly a whole yard more per rushing attempt than they gain per attempt, those figures usually apply to rebuilding teams that are terrible. Only two weeks though, so take it with a grain of salt.

What’s your thoughts on Mac, how short is his leash? Think there’s a reasonable possibility it’s this year and they move on next year if it doesn’t go well? Not sure of his contract situation, but I’d imagine it’s team friendly at this point.

I kinda like carolina in this game.HAVE NOT pulled trigger yet, but still looking at a few things.East to west always a concern but panthers did it last year late in the season and beat seattle 30-24 in week 14. These teams that much different.??Young might not play and with Dalton I think thats an upgrade. Carolina has faced ATL and saints both have better secondaries than Seattle.Seattle had 9 guys out of practice on Wednesday.Seems like line should be more like 3 or 4.Rookie QBs I think I saw somewhere 2-12 SU at Century link.Well Dalton aint No Rookie. Young starts I probably don t play it.Seattle Has some players out and Dalton plays think the +6 might be good in this game.

Carolina ref assignment Torberts crew.He typically ia a let em play type of ref not calling a lot of penalties. Has a history of calling more penalties on the HT. Home Teams have been 38-59 ATS in games in his carreer. Is that significant, I can honestly say I have No clue, but I always do check ref assignments as these guys really can affect games with their tendencies. imho THe Saint playoff loss to Rams when saint guy got drilled and No PI was called, I would have to go back and check but I think that No call was Torberts crew. Brutal no call, may have cost saints going to superbowl.

Nothing unique, he can be decent but he’s gotten a raw ass deal with what he’s had to work with both in coaching and personnel. Not much upside.

Depends how the year goes, I’m sure he’ll want to get paid. Someone will give him a decent contract I think. It’s a scarce position and he could probably do a lot better with talent around him. Can’t say what NE would do if the offense sucked again, too many moving parts but he makes for a nice scapegoat

Pop Douglas might have some potential, he was off to a nice start and then fumbled so got benched for the game. Sure the dolphins appreciated the one guy out there that runs better than a 4.5 40 being benched though. He seems to get open underneath well.

Decent stash in PPR leagues or nice late rd best ball. Replacing meyers with juju already seems to be a bust. Shocker a guy that had no suitors in FA last 2 years and couldn’t even ball with Mahomes ends up being not very good.
