Green Bay is not the best team in the NFC. If the Rams get home field advantage, no one will win this year in St. Louis. If the Rams don't get home field, its wide open. For this game, Barnett and Sharper being out, will greatly affect the cover. I still think Green Bay wins, but it will be a lot closer than people think. This could be a let down game coming off of the last four games of Minnesota, Philly, Tampa Bay, and San Francisco. Detroit's Super Bowl is tomorrow and I expect them to give Green Bay everything they got and then some. My money is on Detroit +6.5.
Like I have said so many times. If you are a true gambler you should be able to get atleast +7 for Detroit. If you like Green Bay you can get -6.5 or possibly -6. Also, if you are able watch pointspreads and figure out what the trend is on a line to determine if you want to bet it now or later. Example, I am sitting on the Chiefs at -6 -115 right now. Got it early Sun morning this week with a free half point at Skybook. I knew this line would go up. My initial lean was to the Chiefs but I was placing money on this regardless. I can analyze during the week and take a stance accordingly. If I decide I like the Chiefs I let it ride, if not, I can probably get the Chargers at +7.5 or better by game time. As for todays game... With that being said, I could get Detroit +7 right now at 3 different books. I will wait to see if I can catch a +7.5. If the line starts to drop at one or two of the books which I don't expect it to I will get in at +7.
I'm doing the same thing in this game omaha, got minus ten cents +7.5 at the open and now will get off it at -6.5 for the same ten cents. Gladly pay 10 cents to get off this and see if the number hits.
A wise man Islander. Sometimes you can even get it at a risk of 5 cents with all the Friday night specials, half points, etc. Just last week I had Atlanta +7.5 and was able to get Titans -6. Only was risking 10 cents and ended up hitting them both. I think it just needs to hit 5% of the time and you break even if my math is correct.

Railbird, you have some very weird theories there bud. Harrington looked awesome out there, not his fault he has nothing to work with. Brett Favre and the Packers were the obvious Turkey's of the day. This team reminds me a lot of the Cowboys. All hype and name and when it comes down to big games they choke.
