Chiefs tickets run around 50 for upperdeck to about 100 on lower level seating. Obviously premium games carry a little more weight, but they are up to $60 for parking day of game. You would think with drop in viewership and larger tv contracts they would try to get more seats in the butt (although sellouts are easy here). Im pretty happy staying at home turning on the grill and watching the games/fantasy teams. Invite a couple friends over and just hangout

It's cheaper to watch the Patriots on the road than it is at home. My favorite game of the year is at the Meadowlands vs the Jets

Club seats for < face, about $ 200 per

Club seats in Foxboro run about $ 1,500 in the secondary market, too rich for me, especially since I usually wind up subsidizing other tickets (if not buying them outright for my kids)

Looking at taking my boys to the Patriots/Texans game in Houston on Dec 1st. The worst of the worst nose-bleeds start at $220, you add the fees in, and
you're looking at $250 each.

Some of the other nose-bleeds are going to cost a grand with fees.

WTF.

Surely you can find something else to do with your money than going to an NFL game.

Fez, try TickPick. No fees. It’s a app. Bengals tix are $20. Some as low as $14. Benefit if having a shitty team. Lol

That's supposed to be our road trip, but it's looking shaky

Richie can't leave his retail store Thanksgiving weekend

My son in law's 55 year old uncle is not doing well at all, they're concerned about making any travel plans (they're both close to him)

I could drag Lisa, but that's not the same road trip / game day experience (why are you drinking so much, I'm not going to that bar, stop spending so much money it's almost Christmas, stop cheering and making an ass out of yourself yada yada yada)

Damn, think I just talked myself out of dragging my wife to Houston (she'll want to shop 40 hours that weekend anyhow)

Solo? hmmmmmmm

Sure is a whole lot cheaper

When the Pats played the Ravens last week I watched ticket prices on the secondary market for several weeks prior to the game. They fluctuated slightly but nosebleeds were around $250 with no fees included. On the night of the game I showed up to the stadium 30 minutes prior and never saw one single person selling a ticket. I watched 3 or 4 guys march through the crowds asking if anyone was selling and not a single response. I waited outside until midway through the first and there was no change in price online (and there was still a huge line trying to get through security). Finally said screw it I’ll just spend the $400 for a lower level ticket on Stubhub. Fee was $130. Said fuck it and left. Now I understand that was probably the most in demand game so far this year but I’ve never gone to an event where I didn’t see a single person selling tickets. Maybe I’m doing it wrong?

The AFC South teams have no real rivalries or fan bases so naturally when 1 of them has a big ticket type team coming to town, the money flows that way even more than usual.

The LA Chargers ticket will be one of the best bargains in sports in 2020. Tickets starting at $50 and these aren't Jerry's World standing room tickets where everyone bum rushes the standing area. The $50 is for actual seats in the upper deck. You can basically sit anywhere in the upper deck for no more than $70. If I'm out in LA I'm definitely going just to enjoy the new stadium experience. It is no doubt going to be the finest stadium every built. Eventually surrounded by stores, office buildings and restaurants.

Miami Stadium seats 65,326 * $8,477 =
$553,768,502. Half a billion dollars.

Without underlying motives such as entertaining or capturing important business clients, paying that type of money to attend a sports event as a fan is totally foolish.
