Somebody's panties are up their ass.

well you came at me like a jackass I responded in kind. You could clearly see who I was talking to, it was quoted. If you had asked the question in a more civil manner, the response would've been in the same tone. So yeah someones panties are up their ass the guy in your mirror

I think it was Boldin that said the NFL had sent them letters of apology for calls in like 4 of their first 6 games. Huge calls that played a big part in the outcome. Anquan Boldin had a pissed off quote about it saying thanks but it doesn't help after the fact.

If I were a player, that is 0 consolation. I'd rather not hear they fucked up just fix it. Not to bring up the seahawks v Pitt superbowl repeatedly but we got the same spiel, and then hearing the ref admit he botched the job years later, 0 consolation. Good for Boldin to speak up about it. Few Hawk players did earlier this year as well.

When that call was made on Browner, AK said it was a great call and Browner would be fined for the hit which of course he was not.

You guys bitching about the call in the Seahawks game act as if SF was ahead or something when that play took place. Seattle was up 10-7 and had the call not been made, would've been up 13-7. Seattle had physically manhandled the 49ers all game long. To think SF would've marched right down and taken the lead isn't realistic.

I'm the biggest Seattle fan here but it was a bad call.

here's a video of the sf/seattle championship game, showing tons of horrible calls against the 49ers... blatant calls and no-calls, even on review

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UTLJ2s5U0g

and let's not forget the fail mary play against green bay, for whatever reason the seahawks are almost always the beneficiaries... look at how many pass interferences/holds they get away with and then the media kisses their ass and says what a great defense they have

Just stop. The media says they have a great defense because they do. As a matter of fact, it's the best in the NFL and was last year as well. You're just a bit butt hurt because they dominated the great Aaron Rodgers and will do it again in the playoffs if they meet again.

And oh by the way, the biggest screw job in Super Bowl history came against Seattle against the Steelers so it's not all one sided.

There's a huge difference between 13-7, which the game MIGHT have been at, and 17-7, which the refs let it be at. You can't just say "if the 49ers did this or that". How many NFL games have been decided by 4-7 points this year? The NFL refs' horrible call turned the game from a 3 or 6-point deficit to a 10-point deficit. The referees' own lack in judgement changed it that much. That matters.

Seattle had a great defense but the refs didn't do their job in that game at all. In fact, the outcry from the lack of calls that were obvious holding penalties by the Seahawks led to a complete overhaul in how the rule is called this season. I'm not really mad since that holding call was rarely enforced against anyone and the Seahawks jobbed the system. Good for them. Ultimately Seattle really skimped by on it last year. They mugged WR's at the line and it was never called even though it was 100% illegal.

And you can't just assume SF would've gone down and scored a TD to take the lead in the game.

So, are you saying Seattle shouldn't have won the Super Bowl? They weren't the best team?

All CB's played by the same rules last year. Seattle wasn't different than anyone else. To presume they didn't play by the same rules is asinine.

Not sure how that is relevant. The refs added 4 points to the Seahawks because of their screw up. Completely changed the complexion of the game.

Seattle realized the refs were not going to enforce the rules on defensive holding. Props to them. It was still illegal. It led to a league wide rule change since refs weren't calling the game according to the rules of the NFL. Seahawks cheated and were awarded for doing so. Those are facts.

Seems weird the other teams wouldn't take the time to realize a massive flaw in officiating and 1 team doing so would result in cheating.

What team do you root for?

It's absurd actually. It's just that the Seattle secondary is heads and tails better than any other secondary out there.

not exactly, arguably better (maybe), but no where near "heads and tails"

I could make a strong argument the Seattle secondary has the best CB, FS and SS in the entire league on their team. And, another CB that would start for any other team out there.

Numbers never lie Willie. You're in the numbers business. Don't claim Revis is better than Sherman. Proof is in statistics.

I remember pretty clearly Aaron Rodgers not throwing one ball Sherman's way. He had no problem throwing at Revis. What else needs to be said?
