If you were to tell me the key to the packers winning is Eddie Lacy - I would say Seattle was Number 4 in Rush Yards allowed 84 / game. Lacy is load to bring down but he is a straight ahead runner - The seahawks are a great tackling team they will stuff lacy today mostly by First contact stands him up and then swarming defense takes over.
If you were tell me Aaron Rodgers is the Best QB in league I would agree his quick release, Yards / throw & TD to Int Ratio have landed him with the 2nd best QB rating this season. Problem is Rodgers is is 75% the man he was in the regular season, he cant run away from pressure & the Seahawk Pass Defense has held Opposing QB's to a QBR of 80. That is a big drop off for Rodgers.
Another key to Rodgers Success is the YAC yards of the Packers how often do you see Jordy Nelson or Randall Cobb Streaking away from pass defenders - Again Seattle's defense will swarm to the ball limiting those YAC yards.
OKay How about the Seahawks....
Seattle is a dynamic offensive team now before you get all over me for that statement - Let me explain - Weapon Number 1 Marshawn Lynch - we all know about beast Mode, he has been slowed by a bad back the last few games but you still have to game plan for him. the no name receiving core of Baldwin - Kearse and Luke Wilson make catches, the hard catches too from tough angles. Then there is Wilson he is so smart he does not beat you with his legs but his brains, but just when you think you have him he heaves down field, sprints away from the rush or takes the sack. No panic in this guys game.
This should be a fun game to watch and see how well Rodgers holds up - But here's my clincher bit of info that I heard yesterday Since taking over as Starter in 2008 Rodgers has never been a 7 Point dog or greater. What does that tell you.
27-17 Seahawks
