Teams today supposedly motivated to get a #1 seed:
  • Philly
  • Minny
  • KC
  • SF
Did they cover?

Nope.

0-4 ATS

Don’t believe the hype from the corporate broadcast teams. Players mostly don’t get it once they’re in until the last regular season game. Maybe.

(and sure, I’ll give my personal email to that commie NY Times… not!)
Teams with the no care for 1 seed week 16 that covered! All teams below mathematically legit 1 seed shots before week 16 results.
Kc
Buf
Sf
Kc
Cin
Dal

All covered last week. 6-1

Phi didn’t cover.

Question is who is is who is most equipped to beat 49ers
Lions, Pack or Seattle?
Likely that is who that team plays

My crystal ball sees a Pittsburgh win tonight with Bengals/Bills game tomorrow night a must win for Bills and a must win win the following week for Bengals so who wins or does it matter if Pitt wins tonight
Cincinnati beat kc so they can still get the 1.

philadelphia was on their 3rd straight road game without their starting qb so you could look at it as 6-0 if you wanted.

There are only 17 on a schedule, but yes they get it pounded in their head when a coach has motivation. He's not an nfl guy though so you should add the oddsmaker knows it too. Still they can only tax a side so much.

I’ll look forward to your useful handicapping information next week before the games start
That useful capping was 4-0 so far this week. 1-6 last week. Which leads us to back the truck up unload on Bengals tomorrow. Bills have no motivation to win/cover tomorrow

Week 17 last year had 9 teams within 1 game of possible 1 seed.

GB won 37-10
Dal lost 22-25 to Arz
Arz won 25-22
Lar won 20-19
Tenn won 34-3
Cin won 34-31
Kc lost 31-34 to cin
Ne won 59-10
Buf win 30-15

These teams with no motivation for 1 seed went 7-2 ATS a d 7-2 SU with two teams playing each other

i'd pick the one with the best run defense. If it was me. All 3 dont have it.

I’ll wait for sir boner to confirm that before kickoff tomorrow. Oh never mind, there won’t be any info from him

Home advantage and a bye on the line
Very big game and incentive to win
Only thing I don't like is it would be awful rough to take out the Bengals twice this ,late in the year
If they play again in the playoffs I would not like that

Nah 6-1 no matter the circumstances.

lions probably. Best OL in the game. Ground n pound may be the formula vs Niners. Goff holds the ship quite well. They can be really good vs the run or God Awful.

Seattle is a fraud imo.

Packers probably the most balanced D/O but they just seem lost. No business winning vs Miami last week. Tua gifted them a win. A rod is just not a playoff guy though

good luck when the 9ers give up a paltry 3.4 a carry. ....default to the best pilot or wait to go against purdy when's gonna have a big hand in it.

For the fans.

Players coaches front office owner ehhh they don’t care about 1 seed or a bye or home field in playoffs. Or so I’m told
i see.

Bigger for Bills though
KC klikely won't lose to Raiders and Ravens will not be an easy win if they take out Buffalo
yes bigger for bills cause it's on ice if it gets done. its already in this number. The thing that scares me off cincinnati is they dont run well and thats how you beat Buffalo, that and everyone is sniffing that maybe cincy is maybe the best team in the conference......but i dont think we know yet. Cincy bandwagon is starting to be visible.

You might be missing some sarcasm. As noted previously in the thread experienced intelligent posters pick up on that. Not digging at you
Yeah lil sarcasm in there! , it’s like my double press latte Starbucks play next week. I’ll pick a Favorite! At -3.5 or -7.5! Then buy down a point before i latte press it on the ML also! Always a favorite on a team with better record and at one of two lines 3 or 7. Never a dog. Nope never. Then it’s teaser time!

Cowboys and Packers probably in the Radar. Nice fits for 3-4 or 6-7 point faves. Buy me down to 2.5 and 6 then Latte triple press em

May go Chiefs ML -750 again
