Over a million men and women died fighting for this country. For this countries freedom. The National Anthem is a time when we stand as Americans to honor those men and women and show our appreciation and respect for those that have given the ultimate sacrifice. That may not mean anything to you, but to a lot of people it means a great deal. And for a multi millionaire who plays a sport who is unhappy with things to choose and sit during that time is highly disrespectful to those men and women who have died to allow him and others like him to make millions of dollars playing a sport. There's a time and place for everything and I can't think of a worse time to try and make some point.
