He was on top of the overturned boat. Probably the only place to survive without being a trained water survivor (or whatever it's called)

Breaking News in Tampa just showed The Coast Guard rescuing him....He told authorities as of last night, all three were alive. They have been in the water since Saturday afternoon.

The father of Nick Schuyler revealed to Tampa Bay channel 10 that his son told him he'd been in the water since "Saturday afternoon" before being rescued 35 miles offshore in Florida Monday.

That means the four men were in the water for as many as 48 hours. ESPN's Sal Paolantonio confirms that Schuyler was in a life vest when he was recovered. Paolantonio adds that early Sunday (we've heard at around 2AM Monday) the other three men split off after clinging to the overturned boat. Schuyler doesn't know why they were separated.

Betall thanks for the vid, but i do find it quiet weird that they show a coach from College crying about the missing USF guy, instead of family and friends.

I mean lets be real the coach has had over 300 players, no way he feels this pain like the family does

It is a little weird. I don't think any Family members of the Missing have been interviewed.

They interviewed Cooper's wife yesterday and his cousin....both appeared optimistic but I am sure by now they are not....search stops in five minutes

Nick Schuyler, 24, told investigators that about two to four hours after their boat capsized Saturday in rough seas, one of the two professional football players gave up hope and let himself be swept away, according to family members of two of the missing men.

A few hours later, the second one did the same.
"We were told that Nick said the two NFL players took their life jackets off and drifted out to sea," said Bob Bleakley, whose son Will, 25, is also still missing.

Then, sometime Monday morning, Will Bleakley thought he saw a light in the distance and decided to take off his life jacket and swim to it, hoping to get help.
"I think he was delusional to think he could swim someplace," Bleakley said.

Real sad ending, heartbreaking.

Sad sad story.

But seriously, some notes to self -

Dont go out to see in a 21 foot boat.

If you capsize 10 miles from shore, don't opt to leave the boat you are lying on.
