What you have to figure out this time of year is what is going to make the NFL the most money, especially upcoming match ups.
Two teams 8-7 fighting for the last playoff spot in a division game makes a lot more money for the league than a 9-7 team playing a 7-8 team with zero chance of making the playoffs.
Pitt beating New England was a lock this past weekend..if Big Ben couldn't have gotten it done on his own the refs would have made sure it happened.
If you truly think the games are fixed, then why are you betting on it? Of course unless you have an in with the league and you know what sides to be on.
Fixing a money making machine like the NFL is just crazy talk. Someone in the know would rat at some point and the whole league would come crashing down. Just not worth the risk.
Is officiating bad? Absolutely. But to think Roger is fixing the games through the refs is just WAY out there IMO.
The NFL is getting very difficult to watch. Outcomes are being manipulated every week.
The Hawks got some help last week versus Minnesota. This week, it's the opposite. They had 14 penalties for 148 yards, SF had 8 for 66. Niners had 5 first downs off of penalties to Seattle's 1. Clearly they wanted San Francisco to win this game. Now watch, the Hawks will get a ton of help next Sunday night against KC.
