yes sir, it is $25 for the pick 5. on this forum, he provides 3 picks for free. if u donate $25 on his blog page, you get 2 extra picks. so essentially you are paying $25 for 2 extra picks a week. im not sure if he is still doing it because it is week 4, but contact him on here first to ask, and then if he says yes, donate $25, if u wanted the pick 5

Just a heads up guys...I'm going to run a college football system starting this weekend.

I'll have a new thread up by Friday night and will explain more there.

I spent the last weekend moving and am still getting things set up on the home front.

MJ....hope it is good. Have temprarily stopped with college because no one consistent to follow and games seem to be very inconsistent with results. Good luck with your system...JJ

I'll give it my best shot JimmyJet...I have some stuff I've experimented with for a couple of years.

I think the key...for me anyway is to wait until Conference play starts. I'll try to take a slice of the best part of the season and then the Bowls.

There are just too many games for us not to try to exploit it.

And people ask me all the time...so lets try it. :toast:

great news MJ, I'm sure they will do well. Any estimate on how many plays per week? Will it be similar to NFL?

It will often have a lot of plays if I remember correctly...that may be a problem. I might have to throw a filter on it...we'll see...thats the fun part for me.

I just got my home office set up after a move...I'll see what I have Friday and post it Friday night with more explanation.

I agree this may be a key element. When you take a slice of stats accross all of CFB, and you look at averages, results, yards gained, points scored, once you cross the conference boundaries those stats can get really skewed. For example, not sure if VT plays JMU anymore but how could you seriously weight their accomplishments against (one of the best) D1AA teams vs a team like Miami or Nebraska? Makes for some interesting formulas. BOL on your plays.

It looks like a nice set of EMO's this week. They are off to a decent start.

I'm going to discontinue the EMO POD...there is no point to it that I can see...it's already included in the set any way.

I have high hopes for these based on what I saw last year and the way they appear to be shaping up this year.

NFL Computer Picks / Pick 3

Off to a really rough start here. In theory we should be entering the "sweet spot" for stat systems. I'm still hopeful this is going to turn around soon.

Good luck! :103631605

Just to avoid confusion about the EMO's...these are NOT the regular computer picks that I have been posting for a couple of years.

This is something new...and experimental that I'm tracking.

EMO's are emotional factors that lead to over and under performance on the field...in theory of course.

Do what you want with them...maybe watching is the best advice? @)

The EMO's are all the emotional factor picks each week that qualify.

The Computer Picks (Pick 3 and Pick 5) are different and are what I have posted here in the past.

But the Computer Picks do use EMO factors, which is why you will often see some of the same picks for both systems....Computer Picks and EMO's.

If thats too confusing...well f*ck ya then. j/k
