Not ideal to go through 0 long term but think impact of wasting a couple points a little overblown IMO

if you like the 3 games against the spread you are better off just betting those games against the spread individually .

A teaser is not about handicapping a game
You are not betting on or against teams in a teaser .

You are betting that the line is efficient .

and wasting points on a teaser is not overblown in the least .
You are paying for every half point.

and on the teaser you listed you wasted a ton of points

As a matter of fact that’s one of the worst teasers I’ve ever seen to be honest .

Honestly I appreciate the advice for teasers in general. I see those games in particular as good value spots on the board, and I estimated probability of those 3 exact outcomes happening at close to 60%. So -130 seems reasonable. But maybe it’s not with the key/dead number factors

I definitely will play all 3. They are best value on board imo. Cardinals a close 4th

With teasers you are essentially betting on the line being efficient within 10 points in this case .

Against the spread you are betting on the team you bet to cover the spread .

this is why a good college teaser is rare because the lines are not nearly as tight in college football as they are in the NFL

And in either case analyzing the game is helpful. I understand a shift in outcomes can capture key/dead numbers but doesn’t mean analyzing the actual event isn’t important . Maybe you were just exaggerating or I misinterpreted something. I dunno/idc

Im looking at that wager as betting something on the cheap by my own estimation. But points taken regarding teasers in general

That teaser is a graveyard of dead numbers and going through 0 on all 3 sides .

I do a 4 team 13 pt teaser every week. Sometime i dont mind going past the number 0 if I think my team wins Straigt up.

This week KC is a 12.5 fav. I have no problem taking a point.
Sometimes i dont mind taking a 9.5 favorite and tease it down to +3.5 so even if my team loses straight up, they can lose by a field goal.

Ties lose so I dont like lines with whole numbers (especially 3,7,10,14,21, etc)

Going to come up with my 4 teamer a little later. I'll post on here.

KC+1- I believe they win outright
Min +10- 10 is an AWFUL number but i dont think minny loses by double digits
Dolphins/Bears over 32.5- Going to be a nice day in Chicago. Winds wont be to bad. Bears just traded away their best defender, their offense is hot, and the bears can move the ball as well
AZ+11- Cant see AZ losing by double digits. Can also see Kyler getting that backdoor TD in garbage time if need be

I remember once having a large 2 team teaser where ties void the entire bet , regardless of what happens in other leg......first team go crushed and I was rooting for other team to win by exactly 2 to tie and it did, that was my lucky day for that year, lol
