Dog day afternoon! Is that all you have to do?
Take the points and you win usually? I should try that next time. Thanks TT! Good work. You such good capper.
To be successful in handicapping you have to look for everything, offenses, defenses, turnovers, head to head, home, away, divisional, trends, angles, weather, coaching staff, injuries, etc. It is not just come Sunday and picking underdogs and hoping for the best. If so, you’re going to hit only 50% and you need to win around 55% to break even using 10% vig. I’m in a 5% vig club except offshores. It’s a full time job to handicap games and, even though, doing the above mentioned can not guarantee a winning.
Money management is the key to success. Don’t bet the money you can not support to lose.
I used to bet a dime or two dimes on each game. Now, I betting for fun at a nickel and don’t vary my bet or chasing. I used to be a bookie myself and have about 35 people (clients) betting with me. Out of those 35, only 1 or 2 (max) people had a winning record and won money from me on each particular year.
I came in here and posted my plays as a pay back and teach newbies to appreciate the value of getting points not giving. Most of the people (public) betting on Favorite and Over, and obvious teams that look easy winners. That’s disastrous. I can not win every times or every weeks, and any winning day always a good day. If I can make one people winning and happy, I’m happy.
Good luck whatever you do.
