He crushed it. Egg is on my face for being so cynical. I should of known 10 stars was an automatic winner. I didn't play it because it didn't meet my criteria of 11.5 stars
Don't fret too much tony85, Victor King has his once a year 10 star on the OVER 56 in the Vikings/Lions game on Sunday night. You know what to do :

I disagree wildbill. They are providing us a service. There a posting a product that would otherwise cost money. We read it here on free. You want them to go through it and check it for errors, too?
It's on the gambler to do his own DD. You want them to place the bet for you too?
Keep posting the newsletters, fellas.
Yes, if you are in the newsletter business which provides the stats vs teams they play which is part of handicapping which is something I do, the editor in chief should look over their newsletter before print/post. I said what I said and I'm sticking to it. Transparency is a big deal, at least it is to me. Using stat analysis is vital when looking for an angle for winning a bet, the rest is the team's execution during the game. We all know an injury here or there can change the outcomes.

Congrats to Mark Lawrence for his 10 Star winner!!

I agree, but it's about to the companies/touts who print and sell them to make sure the data is accurate.

I really like V.King's newsletters as it's practically unique in the industry. Not the greatest of years for him and his totals picks in the newsletters rate 2* and 3*. For a jump to 10* off his King Creole service I find it conflicts with the newsletters and would bode well being a 4* or 5* rather than a eye grabbing 10*. Hope it wins or my RR's will turn into a few 2 and 3 team handouts at best!

Newsletter Tracking (through 1/2/2024)

**Sorry, just realized I hadn't done the updates this week

**This is the time of year it gets a little harder to keep up with all the bowl picks, so may have missed one or two.

The records here will reflect the lines listed in the newsletters at the time the plays were published. This is for the rated plays, the high-ranking plays, and any type of play worth tracking. There’s no reason to keep track of every bottom-tier or “recommended” play; it’s not worth the work.

Sometimes the newsletters will cheat a little by claiming a different common or later line if it turns a loss into a push or otherwise boosts their record. I’ll usually be able to note what happened to explain the discrepancy.

I’ll also highlight particularly good or bad weekends or short-term runs. I will not include picks from newsletter issues that we don’t get in time.

Starting to color-code the hottest and coldest records. Usually just anything hitting/missing around 70% or more with a reasonable sample.

BTW, there are actually some games not included above, but listed on my next sheet, so that post isn't technically "through 1/2"

I'll get them in the next update
