New to this site. I was directed to this thread and want to thank Buzz Kill for the work he does. This is an incredible resource.

dtmad, the Gaming Today Newletter loaded up fine on my computer. Not sure if anyone else is having issues, but I saw your question and thought I should respond.

Congratulations drega09 on breaking your posting cherry in the Newsletter Thread! Welcome!

Thx for posting all these newsletters, they are great. When does Phil Steele usually release his weekly newsletter?

I'm very grateful for these weekly newsletter postings. I am guessing that Victor King's tipsheet has been difficult to get as of late?

Again, two weeks in a row, Bondi charges $7 for zero, count 'em, zero picks. Hopefully, people who paid money to this character have noticed the trend.

Victor King is still recovering from triple bypass surgery. Here is Marc Lawrence on this weekends football action, here is his 12/17 radio show:

Speaking of Marc Lawrence, he went 0-2 last weekend after having five 2-0 weekends in the Playbook Wise Guys Contest.

Thanks Buzz. Bondi isn't bad with his service plays, but his bulletin is not to be respected. Thanks again for what you do.

Disappointing Newsletters

Thanks Buzz. Bondi isn't bad with his service plays, but his bulletin is not to be respected. Thanks again for what you do.

The performance of the newsletters is disappointing as all the rain dtmad. If the newsletters helps you make your own picks, good for you. But blindly following any of these guys does not seem to be the answer. If you don't make your own picks, finding one handicapper to fade or follow could be the answer to making some money. But the paid handicappers selections are as bad as the newsletters. Right now, the hottest handicapper to follow or fade seems to be the "Brandon Lang Trademark." Anyone who has followed Lang since the start of the football season with a 1,000 dime bankroll, has more than doubled their money now. I see today Lang has a 100 dime play on the Arizona Cardinals +8 1/2 at home over Seattle. Yesterday he had Air Force as an underdog who won outright. Per the "REAL" Fade Brandon thread, which has very accurate records, this season Lang is up 842 dimes in the NFL and with the Air Force win is up 199 1/2 dimes in college football. For football this season, Lang is up a total of 1,041 1/2 dimes, easily doubling your 1,000 dime bankroll, even if you have been just flat betting the same amount per dime. If you change your bet per dime after each play (current bankroll/1000 dimes) you have just been killing it.

For the casual bettor and the sports books, the action is during the football season. Here is Lang and his boss Al DeMarco in their latest video:

Hi Buzz. I track the newsletters but I've given up on them. You can't respect their picks without tracking them...then someone goes on a run and you jump on their picks just in time for their streak to end. I've heard that Lang has a history of being bad so somewhat difficult to jump on his picks at the start of a good run. BTW, the worst thing that happened to me was with the first Gold Sheet I bot for the NCAA basketball tourney. They Were 7-1 with their picks the first day. Guess how they (and I) did after that.
Thanks.

Most of these newsletter writers/touts don't even bet

Let me remote view the answer dtmad.....I see a big pile of warm shit. :):)

Most of these touts don't even bet. Lang's old boss, Stu Feiner never bets, he just touts. Here is a scene from Two for the Money. Al Pacino plays Brandon Lang's real time boss Stu Feiner and Matthew McConaughey plays Brandon Lang:
