I was one of only two guys that showed a season profit to last year's Skybook Weekly Contest, yet never won a damn week from them, as I lost on Sat/Sun twice

..I forget if it was $700, $750, or a dime to weekly winners?..Amazingly it had only like two or three multi-week winners for the year?

P.S. All contestants watch out for Cardfather, JerseyMike,etc..they're mean in contests!

Horseshoe - Its not really a competition contest. All players are trying to get their own winning streaks going, if for example, Cardfather wins 10 in a row it has no effect on other streaks.

Thanks Wil, I read it, but quickly forgot it when posting, seems interesting, but not the same pizazz that the variety of last year's contest brought?

Skybook is a class place, though I only opened an account with them last year to enter contest, and am not currently playing there.

One TEAM that will score 7 runs a game ? ? ?

It's hard enough to get a game "over" with two average pitchers toeing the bump.

I appreciate the free contest. I still can't believe a book won't step up and sponsor a "real" capping contest. This one is next to impossible to win. It should however drag a lot of people into the Baseball Forum and provide the Rx with more hits and Skybook with free advertising.

That's not a bad thing :)

As explained in the rules, SKYBOOK and THERX reserve the right to change the rules.

This may include lowering the 6.5 total to facilitate more winners if needed be.

LMAO..Horseshoe i remember those bad beats you had.

Skybook..I love ya,but this is one hard contest..5.5 runs a game will give us a better shot or maybe you could add a zero to the prize money

Either way I 'll take my free abat against you.
Thanks for the contest!

JERSEY--Dont blame Skybook for the 6.5, my idea.

Like mentioned earlier, we will adjust the contest if needed.........DONT PANIC.

Lots of streaks started after all of last nights scoring.

Be sure to put your selections in.

Remember, you are not competing against anybody else, just yourself.

Just so I'm clear on the rules

I can pass tonight because there are only 3 games scheduled correct?

also - the rules say that when the streak is at 7 then you have the choice to continue on or quit and take the winnings... So if I get to a streak of 6 do I not have the choice to quit and take the winnings?

JAYPAW-

Hence there only THREE scheduled games tonight, you are allowed a free pass if you would like.

If you wish, you can pick a team, but if it loses your streak will come to an end.

Prize levels are........

6= $50
7= $100
8= $250
9= $500
10= $1000

When your streak reaches SIX, you have the option of collecting $50, or moving on an attempting to add to your streak for more money.

If you lose however, you recieve nothing.

When anybodys streak reaches SIX or more, they must clearly state in the next days selection thread their desire to cash out or continue on with their streak.
