Patriot - That's what Democrats do.......Instead of placing the blame on the students and parents, they vow to lower the bar. Before you know it you will only have to pass half of your classes to graduate high school.

It sad that there are people out there who are willing to dumb down our country when in fact they should be holding people responsible for their actions.

In all fairness, both parties pander to votes. Bush is doing it now as well.

This is why I cant justify voting Democrat despite my antipathy for the Bush administration. I just differ on too many isses, and I know that they cater to special interests as well.

My biggest issues are the patriot act, (ooposed), the war (opposed, the drug war (opposed). Kerry voted for the patriot act and the war in iraq. I realize he has flipped, so I he is on my side, but I would prefer someone who originally was opposed to these things.

I also hate affirmitiva ction and excessive money to welfare, etc....

I will vote Liberterian in all likely hood. Not that it matters, my state will be blue. It always is.

Ironically, Kerry is one of my least favorite dems. Kusinich, while not popular, is true to himself, and has balls.

Dean is better too.

Kerry is a lesser evil than Bush IMO, but not enough to warrant my vote.
