I understand all your concerns but at least this systen is better than what we have now (NOTHING), and it holds sports books and us to some sort of accountability...

So Dru is basically saying that Ken;s idea has no merit.

Good Idea, but that's it...

I don't think too many offshores are interested in having their financial info floating around.

Hint - IRS

I agree fundamentally its a good idea.

I can't imagine too many books would like the idea, although I imagine you have asked most of them before posting a new policy.

Nice Policy. It has holes but it's a good start.

I'm sure you've considered this decision carefully but if I ran a large, profitable, respected book who only took in a handful of Rx references per month I would pass on your "offer." My point is be sure that you have compelling reasons why this "policy" would benefit a respected book.

Joey,

I know many books would trust the Rx and SBR with this info and nothing has to be done on paper...

It's time to put up or shut up and I am sick of seeing gamblers losing money to sports books because I didn't make a concerted effort to review how they are REALLY doing week to week.

It can work.

May be a lil tough to get the ball rolling but a very good investment for everyone.

Let the revolution begin.

Dru,
Please reread what you said. It is posted just above.

Highlights here in BOLD

we will never know the REAL truth unless the players saw accual bank statements because we dont know if what the Book tells the shrink is the truth or not

Novel idea but it obviously would be impossible to regulate, unless you have accountants from the rx at all the books that advertise on your site.

The proof is in what i said. We can't believe what the book tells the Shrink. Nowhere do I say we can't believe the Shrink. Keep reading

Why would the books even want to have the added work load to provide figures to the RX at all.

Who are the almighty RX to demand this from PAYING advertisers?.

What benefit do the books get from this, being able to advertise on the Rx is that really such a big deal. ?

Do you not think that you will lose a large amount of advertising revenue by doing this .

Shrink, thats pretty strong. To tell a guy "if you dont like it, take your advertising elsewhere" Joey C was just giving his opinion.

It's not a perfect system at this point by a longshot (sorry Ken) but it's an effort. Hell to get anything done you have to start somewhere. Maybe in the discussion of this other ideas will pop up. Just getting to the next step that a site is interested in the weekly activities of their books is a good start.

Nothing gets done a lot of times because there is always a few geniuses who will piss all over any idea. Aw that will never work! Constructive criticism is fine but let's give this stuff a chance. Thank you Ken for at least putting a foot forward on this, I appreciate it.

Certainly is a step in the right direction, which makes it novel, but controlling it is something entirely different.
