Yea it's on ibberville.

Ive always said acme has the best raw oysters and dragos has the best chargrilled.

But acme is a close 2nd on the chargrilled.

Everyone else besides those 2 are pretenders.

Only raw oysters we eat in Nola are .75 cent ones at Luke for hh.
Acme is certainly worth going to if you've never been to NOLA

Gotta thank everyone for their input. So far we have hit:

Acme
Red Fish Grille
Borgne
Killer Po Boys

GW Fins tomorrow

It has all been amazing food. You would think I weight 300lbs by this thread but I swear I am a fit 180. The boss loves his food and booze and has been happy about the choices.

Check out The Maspero's......

m8lEQgX.jpg

get to the (less Formal, I believe) http://www.cafemaspero.com/ I thought when I lived there whichever one of these Maspero's that has the Deep Fried Breaded Octopus (or Squid...I forget which one) was closer to Canal Street than this map shows so I am not sure which location it was but figure out which one by looking at their websites (2nd Maspero's link at end of this post) or popping by them, they are both right there in the Quarter, 2 Blocks apart, real real close to each other plus doing this will = you see more of The French Quarter than you would have otherwise.

When you figure out which one has the Amazing Super Generous sandwiches and the Fried Octopus at least eat at that one.

A New Orleans MUST.

Lunch......most appropriately for the correct Maspero's, at least when I lived there so many years ago. But other meals would work as well.

If Lunch try to go at a time off-peak so....2:00 or therabouts....Noon might be jam-packed.

The Dungeon bar used to open at Midnight. Now their Yelp says they are open at 9pm.

If you can handle Heavy Metal Music for long enough to experience this place it is a "Don't Miss" as well.

More fancy Maspero's (?) so the "wrong one" at least as far as the Fried Squid and Amazing sandwiches go?????
