When it ended abruptly, I said out loud, that's it ??? This movie sucked and is a total waste of time.
I didn't and can't find what others found that was enjoyable in this movie.
A degenerate who can't win loses some guys money who went to jail. Somewhere along the way he meets some Spanish girl who isn't hot at all. Gets a job with his brother doing landscaping of which he already owns 1/2 the company through his dads will. His GA sponsor tells him about some big stakes poker game and proceeds to lose more of some guys money but by some miracle wins it all back on ONE hand and then some. Oh wait then the heart attack that has him in the hospital for 3 minutes, he leaves then he finally meets Spanish girls mom and kid at her house for dinner and movie ends.
That's pretty much the gist of the movie.
There is very little gambling shown in this movie, 3 or 4 random horse race wire shots, a few hands of black jack and a few games of poker all shown in some office building and an appliance store.
We could get guys from this forum and follow them around a real casino and make a movie 10,000 times better and more interesting than this movie.
It totally sucked, it was boring and there was absolutely no build up or payoff. Fluff, filler and a bra shot, big flipping woop to doo. I won't even mention the horrible karaoke part. They showed more of that, than actual gambling.
If anything else in this movie they made a mockery of GA.
