Deadwood was alot better than the Sopranos. I have been watching the past episodes and they suck. I just don't give a shit about that show anymore. They lost me with the 2 year hiatus and the focus on Tony's relationships. Who cares. Deadwood was good shit. I also like the Shield on F/X channel.
The Sopranos hasn't been good since the end of season 2. A good episode every so often but not the great show it once was. The 1st 2 seasons almost every episode was a classic. Over the last 2 seasons you had the Pine Barrens episode and the one where Burt Young was coughing up a lung and shooting Mustang Sally. Other than that who really cared about any of the plotlines.
I use the "Hall of Fame test" on the shows . If you have to ask if it was a good show then it was not a good show.

Robert Loggia playing his Robert Loggia caricature is hilarious . And you cant argue with gardeners getting beaten down.
