I will, as I am sympathetic to your case, point out before the bush puppets do that there was that WTC bombing they didn't quite pull off in '93 and whose perpetrators were brought to justice.Brian707 said:Who was president when 911 happened? Thanks president Bush for being on vacation all of August 2001. Is that really something to be proud of? Considering that no attacks had hit America pre 911? Lets not forget a real president named Clinton prevented the millenium bombings. Keep believing that mindless propaganda that you sheep blindly follow. Typical bushbot.

Had been in office for a month. 9-11 was also his fault even though he had been out of office for 8 months.

Green condemns "outrageous" Puerto Rican terrorist clemency deal
Green cosponsors legislation condemning White HouseWASHINGTON – They’re part of an organization responsible for 130 bombings across the United States.
release of 12 convicted FALN conspirators
Soon, thanks to a clemency offer by President Clinton, they’ll be free – and U.S. Rep. Mark Green (R-Green Bay) is, to put it kindly, not pleased.
"This is an outrageous and disturbing action by the White House," Green said Wednesday. "These convicted terrorists are part of a criminal organization that killed six Americans and injured another sixty with their bombs. Many of the victims were police officers. Now, President Clinton has decided to set them free – it’s an action that defies belief."
Last month the president offered clemency to 16 convicted members of the FALN (Armed Forces of National Liberation), though none of them had requested the offer. Twelve of the prisoners have reportedly accepted the deal, and 11 are expected to be released almost immediately. As part of the clemency deal, the prisoners are required to renounce violence and cut any ties to the FALN. After nearly a month, the prisoners agreed to the conditions, although Newsweek magazine has reported that prison tapes contain conversations showing that the members plan to continue their armed struggle against the United States once released.
Green said he has signed on to legislation condemning Clinton’s clemency offer and asking him to rescind the offer if possible.
"We cannot allow this miscarriage of justice to go forward without a round and severe condemnation," Green said. "It used to be U.S. policy to not even negotiate with terrorists – now the president is setting them free to walk the streets. It just doesn’t make any sense."
Between 1974 and 1983, the FALN executed a bombing campaign against civilian, military and political targets in the U.S. in an effort to gain independence for Puerto Rico. Although none of the prisoners in question were convicted of the bombings themselves, they were tried and sentenced for crimes ranging from bomb-making and seditious conspiracy to armed robbery. Although their sentences range in length from 35 to 90 years, Clinton’s order effectively reduces every term to the less than 20 years each has already served. Both the FBI and Justice Department reportedly recommended against the clemency offer.
