quote:
I was recently in a gulf coast casino where there were a few black cats around, like a notorious house man named Chilly Beaver. If you got on a good roll, or the table starting yelling a little, Chilly Beaver was there to chill the hot table.

He would just walk up and say "How is the table boys?" This just disrupted the hot flow of the game. After seeing this man for the third time I yelled "ALL MY BETS ARE OFF"

Chilly......they should call this guy freeze or something.

ok, David....I'll bite! Seeing that craps played correctly has the lowest house advantage, why do you say you can't win at craps?

STEW- You answered your own question....lowest HOUSE ADVANTAGE. YOU CANNOT WIN LONGTERM AT CRAPS. GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD.

ps- BACCART HAS A LOWER HOUSE ADVANTAGE THAN CRAPS.

I'll post another thread regarding craps. This is Krackman's welcome thread... a craps discussion would be a distraction here.

Incidentally, I have always wanted to see more written material from K-man, so I am glad the Rx did this.

The pass line with full odds has a very low house edge. I played in Biloxi earlier this month at a place with 10x odds which is a house edge of one fifth of a percent. At good casino with comps and other perks if you have the discipline it is break even at worst. Now all I need to get is a good mechanic who can hold up or slide a die.

I will have an article on this subject in the near future.

I know an AC dentist. Guy has had a full size table in his basement for 25 years, not for home games either. He sticks a pillow in the corner and practices tossing softly, for decades this has gone on now. Yet I've never seen the guy make a big score.
