Today is my birthday. Yeah I was serious, I felt like I earned it behind the scenes, but it wasn't binding so it's all good if you don't agree.

It's not that I don't agree that you deserve a few bucks, it's that I came to the forum with this because I knew it wouldn't cost me anything. I make no money and have twin babies, and couldn't really afford to get an electrician. Trying to start a side biz just to stay afloat.

You did spend a lot of time helping me out, and for that I am greatful and I thank you. You could have just ignored me even though you knew you could help me.

I hope that helping a poor guy out is enough of a reward for yourself.

Best thing to do is put the white wire in one end of your mouth and the black one in the other touching them to your tongue. You should be able to tell the voltage this way.
