I'm sayin if you don't disconnect the load side of the wires from the busbar and check the voltages on the wires coming out the receptacle box with the idler running.

nope i sure can't. Tripped the breaker immediately. I got an email into tech support breaking down all the voltage readings I got with all the details of what is happening as well. See what they say.

You have a short somewhere then.

Here's a good test. Take a piece of wire like 3 feet long. Strip it on both ends. connect one end (temporarily to the bus bars) and see if you can read voltage off the other end.
It shouldn't trip the breaker with the idler running.

That was it. This whole damn time it was just a freaking short. I got readings of 260, 260, and 240.

Positive? Hopefully you could hook up the receptacle to that short piece of wire, tape up the receptacle plug in the load, and see what you got.
You should have your disconnect placed after the control panel and before the receptacle once you get to that point to make it permanent.

Attached the outlet and plugged in the machine.

Machine works properly and goes the correct direction. No breaker tripped. No freakin' way! Always the most simple thing.

wasn't exactly a simple fix. I probably coulda found the problem in 30 minutes if I were there, but it's hard to get all the details when it's not in front of you. Oh well, glad you got it fixed, btw I take cash, check, or credit. :lolBIG: :aktion033
