The over was such a lock given the circumstances, EVERYONE, I mean EVERYONE was on the over which scared the fuck out of me so I laid off....

HinesWard, i guess thats a matter of opinion. stikers face that every game and simply jump around or over the keeper. van der sar had the ball before drogba even started to kick, plus, he didnt run into van der sar, he kicked him. i think thats a big difference also and he could have easily avoided VDS.

I don't think he could have slowed down given his acceleration and pace at the moment, and he did lift his left foot to not hit him in the face...Haven't sen such a yellow card for a long long time, too harsh imo.

I still think Ivory Coast gets another one. After all, Drogba scores once a game for the Ivory Coast and didn't score the first one. I could definitely see 6 or 7 goals in this game.
