Fvck the good ole USA....I am so tired of reading about this shit.Everyday its something else. You know f they could stop gambling by doing this than I might could understand but they'll NEVER be able to stop it,there will always be somebody waiting to take your action...still cant figure out why in the hell there cant be a happy medium with all of this? Leave the offshore books alone but tax them somehow, the books would have NO problem paying and the US would make a fortune....Seems easy enough to me

This is how ass backwards the US governments way of thinking is.

Because we can't control, enforce or manipulate online gambling for our benefit, we are against it.
If you are not against online gambling because we are, you are against us.

Classic American Bully Tactics. And they wonder why the rest of the world doesnt like em. :think2: :ohno: :lolBIG: :monsters-

"FEDS have a 95% conviction rate"

They have a 95% conviction rate because they try cases like:

Defendant carried 700 lbs of weed across the border. Here is the videotape.

Defendant had explosive shoes on an airplane. Here are the shoes.

I suspect their conviction rate drops a whole lot when trying cases that involve interpretting the law.

they have no defence

1. even their own documents stated the illegality in the present or future interpretation

2. they had people operate transfers through neteller to list actual transactions

they can fight it on principle but the acts themselves show little in the way of having a defence.

and as for possibility of a future neteller taking us clients on-board forget it would never get off the ground , no bank located in the US would touch this with a barge pole.

way too much risk for the banks reputation vs the reward.

Informative but totally depressing article that sums up US DoJ and state prosecutions of internet gambling businesses over the past few years.

I think anyone living in the New York area should go support these two by attending the hearings with some sort of visable support(shirts, signs whatever)and let the Republicans know there are voters out there aware of all this fuckin bullshit.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

If I could be there, I would.

Courtrooms are open to the public so that the government can't abuse its power behind closed doors.
