I'd take 50 cents on the dollar so fast, you're head would spin. I, and now you, seem to be the only ones seeing the bankruptcy coming. Apparently, everyone else seems to be so mesmorized by Neteller's supposedly infallible business model that they haven't considered this as a possibility. Talk about not seeing the forest from the trees...

I'll buy all you have to sell for 50 cents on the dollar.

I think bankruptcy is impossible. This company had 0 risk. They took in X dollars, made X*.06 interest. They transfered X*Y dollars and made X*Y*.029...

They printed money.

Much more likely is:

With the news, the 2 banks that did US EFTs stopped.
The bank that did US checks said no more.
So neteller said, use the card.
Now that bank has said no more.

neteller can say they tried to pay people back and will when possible.

They are still sitting on a lot of interest and have no reason to find a new processor anytime soon.

Up until an hour or so ago I was only going to lose $11. Now it looks like $511 since someone tried to pay me and couldn't. I hate to say it, but this is like watching a blizzard on television.....kinda fun in a way.

:realtongu

That's like the old joke about two guys walking down the street when a mugger jumps out with a gun and says "Give me all your money". One guy turns to the other guy and says, "by the way, here's the $100 I owe you"

Once the American Money is no longer coming into the company (like right now...and likely forever), then the House of Cards falls. That money was fueling the whole company, and it cannot be replaced.

Some people may get paid, but there will be such a mad rush that Neteller will just pull the plug, blame it on the government, and laugh.....no one can even name one person who works there.....no recourse.

Disappearing act will be coming. What happens when you can no longer login to the website? Or call on the phone?

The plug is about to be pulled.

Sean, you're a good guy and all, but to say a company has zero risk is foolish. No company in the world is at zero risk. To say that bankruptcy is impossible for a company based on it's liquidity is also foolish. There are many ways to go bankrupt other than liquidity problems, such as LEGAL PROBLEMS. As far as their liquidity goes, I think there's more to it than meets the eye, judging on how these payouts are playing out.

God, why didn't I start with the card a couple weeks ago?

I requested two checks between Pinny closing and the first Neteller fallout. One is still pending, the other I can still cancel. No chance the pending one is coming, I assume :(

The United States Government knows that 99 percent of the millions of dollars that is tied up right now had been used, and will be used for what they consider illegal activities.

That right there tells me that this money will never make it back into the hands of the players. That money will be out of the gambling community forever if they can pull this off.

Going after the payment processors and throwing the Fear of God into the players with balances is a great move on their part...even if you believe what they are doing is bullshit.

Let's say it again:

"When it comes to money....everyone is of the same religion".

I have about 21 dimes with Neteller. If you want to give me 10.5 for it, we can do business, but I don't think I would be able to transfer it into your Neteller account if that's what you're thinking. I ordered a check and I'm not sure if they'll let me cancel it to free the funds for a peer-to-peer.

You can cancel checks. You just need to get the right rep on the phone.

I would be more than happy to do business with you if Halifax does not take you up on the offer since he was the first to make the offer.

Not good news - Just Talked to Neteller

and they said Neteller card is not an option anymore. They will not even allow you to withdraw transfer funds to it. As for EFT, They said the two weeks from 16th is now out. And they have NO NEW timeframe.

Can anyone call them again and confer this info. I want to make sure I was'nt dealing with a yahoo or anything.

You are correctomundo !!

Neteller is screwing US clients..........I had 8500 their and made a 1k WD 3 str8 days and now the balance of 5500 is trapped there. IMO no one will ever get a dime from Neteller again and most likely they WILL be handing over any and all documents regarding transactions by all US accounts to the "Gambling Police".......What a joke the US Govt is in regards to this law.....spend your time , money and efforts in busting the hard drug cealers, pedofiles, thieves, killers...........But you see those dudes fight back with GUNS......whereas bettors & bookmakers don't shoot back. I would not be surprised to see some Fed dude or some other authority knock on the doors of US players trying to charge you with "money laundering"......this WILL get worse before getting better
