I would say then to leave some money in there for them to get (not a lot , but some) and then you really need to find someone to trust and get it to them. With the US Govt., it really is all about the money and once they have your money, you are powerless to negotiate. An example would be that, the one guy involved in my case who was the "head guy" for many years, had a suspicion that something was coming and he had his money protected. He ended up doing less jail time than others, because he was able to negotiate a forfeiture, where the rest of us already had our shit taken. The funny thing is that they really do not dig that deep. They take what is easy (bank accounts, vehicles, homes) and then dont really care about the rest. Many people I was indicted with had other investments that they could have found out about very easily, but they were more or less lazy.
