Need help opening a BitTorrent movie I downloaded..

The reason LimeWire stalls,downloading video is:

1. you ae letting LimeWire control torrent files
(bad idea) a bittorrent client is more efficient.

2. you are downloading partial-downloaded torrent files,from other downloaders,that don't have 100% of file.
(meaning you will probably not get a complete download of video through limewire.)

OK...it still hasnt finished DL but it lets me watch it on VLC player...

I wanted to watch what I could...basically the whole movie..

but the words aren't matching up with the video...

Any cause for this??

well yeah ..
the movie file isn't in "sync" until it's finished.
downloads aren't linear.
meaning,they don't download from beging to end,
they download in pieces, from all over the place ...then compile into one complete file.

when it's 100% done...it will sync properly

ALWAYS...ALWAYS ALWAYS .....CK THE SIZE OF FILES YOU DOWNLOAD ON THESE SITES.......compare them with other files and make sure you are downloading the most common size of the file in question.....there is almost no movie that would be that small so right away you should have seen there was a problem ...and not tried to open it! In this case hopefully u just dont have the whole file yet but it could have been a virus named for that movie....on limewire,etc i'd say 30-40% of the files on there are misnamed viruses or trojans...Netflix will b cheaper if u dont know what your doing...

the movie is a 700m file
(Owning Mahowny (2003) MINI avi / Total size: 700.35 megabyte)
not downloading on limewire,,explained that already
that's why never download video off limewire ...especially if you can't spot a virus.

I was looking at one torrent for this movie..
and under comments,(states audio problems)
if this is the same torrent,,,you may have an audio/sync problem ...

check your torrent comment section.
