I dont necessarily agree with this decision since I voted Top5(no) not Top 6(no) but I made the mistake of entering a pool before the prize structure was decided and no one forced me to do it so now I have to live with things beyond my control. I think vinavinvci made a post about this.

I asked for the poll to get a barometer for what the field wanted, and that is what is happening here...I also stated many times in the signup thread, we had 30 players lst year and paid out the top 5, and this would be rated along those lines, we have 50% more players this year...there was no way for me to set a payout schedule until after I saw just how many players we had.
If you look at the vote count, MOST want a top 5, a good portion also suggested top 7, and many also wanted to pay the last place spot...
Putting it in between to accomodate what the vote count has suggested would mean paying Top 6, using the last place money , which many had hoped for to pay the 6th place position is not going to take away from the prize money , 1/3 of those that voted wanted top 7 ...Trying to please everyone here and that is impossible , I hope everyone understands.

there was no way to make a payout structure when the deadline was at midnight the night before the first games on Sunday....
In a perfect world, we would have all signed up weeks prior to and had everything laid out then...but we didnt. I think this is a great contest and journey went thru a lot of trouble to do this for everyone.
If you are being that big a dousche about the payout, then get out of the damn contest...we dont want your bitchin every week. I would think that anyone that was willing to put up the $300 would be in it for the win....not to finish barely in the money....just pick your games bro

Honestly, thanks for taking the time to put this together..I am not into the fantasy football,"conflict of interest and way too time consuming"..
This contest is perfect, I am a little shocked that we did not have more contestants, but really, "who cares"? This is going to be fun whether I finish first or last. There is just enough money in the win pool to keep my picks focused, which MAKES me do a little extra homework for Sundays game.. I really scrutinized the injury updates,drafts, and coaching changes.
But getting back to my original Bravo to Jman and Fish, again thanks for the time you guys spent creating this contest, establishing a voted prize pool, and answering all questions.
