edit - i forgot larry fitz is up there too, so i would have to take him ahead of calvin johnson i suppose, although i expect monster things from cj

Heres a list of the more intriguing guys that will 100% available (not kept). I am aware I have some 2nd and 3rd rounders thrown in here , just wanted to give you a better idea of whats available towards the top.

Jahvid Best
Jamaal Charles
Reggie Wayne
Jason Witten
Wes Welker
Roddy White
Calvin Johnson
Tim Hightower
Peyton Hillis
Larry FItzgerald
Vincent Jackson
Brandon Marshall
Mike Wallace
Rashard Mendenhall
Steven Jackson
LeSean McCoy
Marques Colston

Figure mendenhall has to go first, larry fitz probably 2nd id guess, possibly mccoy, but at 3rd im looking at a pretty good pick with fitz, mccoy, or calvin - id be happy with any of the 3 - really afraid of steven jackson this year - really like peyton hillis but obviously thats way too high
would throw a party if mendenhall somehow fell to me

Just had the draft. Not really happy with my choices.
1st pick in a 12 team draft, 15 rounds with 2 keepers from previous year, weird scoring:
It is a PPR. Also there are bonuses for long TDs. 33 yard or less TD is 6 pts. 34-66 yards is 6 pts. 67+ yard TD is 12 pts.
Also odd roster setup. 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 RB/WR/TE, K, DST.

My keepers were Rivers and Cedric Benson.

1st round pick 1 - best available: Charles, mccoy, roddy, mendenhall, calvin johnson, larry fitz. Went with Charles.

Between that 1st overall pick and my 24th pick in round 2, all the top WRs are gone. I have a bit of a brain fart and nearly time out. I end up taking Ryan Mathews (I def do not need another RB here, big mistake) and Brandon Lloyd. Only other WRs out there worth considering - Colston, Boldin, Holmes (who I regret not grabbing), Steve Johnson, Mike Williams. Before my next pick in round 4, Amendola, Manningham, Harvin and Britt are gone.
I take Santana Moss with rd 4 pick 12. I like this pick actually. I think he's gonna have a big year even though hes older than dirt.
Round 5 pick 1 I take Julio Jones. Bit of a reach, but I need a wr and he seems to be maturing very quickly in Falcons offense.

Notable guys off the board after my round 5 pick - Ochostinko, Rice, Finley, Mike Thomas, Braylon, AJ Green, Steve Smith, Plax, Garcon (who i was ready to grab, but was taken 2 picks ahead of my turn)

Round 6 pick 12 , Round 7 pick 1 - Deion Branch + Burleson. Hate this pick right now (mostly Branch) because I had Malcolm Floyd and Lee Evans sitting there. 2 guys who I was really high on. Another mistake. A healthy Burleson will have a really big year though, but Floyd should have been an automatic pick.

Round 8 pick 12, Round 9 pick 1 - Brandon Gibson (a reach but I really like him) and Jets DST. I think 4 DST are off the board at this point, I am most impressed by the Jets D than any other right now, and I am pretty sure in 24 picks from now they are going to be gone. A cardinal sin to pick a DST early, but theres not really anyone sitting there that I am going to draft and be able to count on.

Next 2 picks round 10 12 and round 11 1 - Bernard Scott (handcuff) and Ronnie Brown (big sleeper potential IMO). Like both of these. Again, not really missing out on any other players here

Round 12 #12 and Round 13 #1 - Roy Helu and Bernard Berrian. A couple more guys I was targeting, and glad Helu especially was still on the board.

Round 14 #12 and Round 15 #1. Delone Carter (Indy) and my kicker Josh Brown. was aiming for Andre Roberts but he got snatched up before me in round 14. Also was considering Donald Driver here (yes still on the board, as was Jordy Nelson). Some really awful picks being made at this point. I get a guy with huge upside and a kicker who plays vs a lot of really weak defenses in his division, in great weather or indoors, and hes on a team with a high powered offense. Also he nailed a 50+ yd fg in preseason. Had him 3rd on my kicker depth chart (LOL)

SO all in all, I screwed up a couple picks in the earlier rounds, BIGTIME, hopefully it wont crush me. Obviously Im stacked at RB and might look around at other rosters to free up one of these backs. Trades are hard to find in this league though. Last season I dont remember a single one going down.

My complete roster for week 1 (set top lineup, havent gone through matchups yet):

QB rivers
RB charles
RB Mathews
RB Benson
WR Lloyd
WR S Moss
WR Julio Jones
K J Brown
DST Jets

Bench
Ronnie Brown
D Carter
Roy Helu
Bernard Scott
Bernard Berrian
Deion Branch
Nate Burleson
Brandon Gibson

Would love to hear your feedback guys.
