If you were all alone in life and your actions would only reflect upon yourself, then I would say by all means, go ahead and do what you want. React to this guys anger and beat him up, kill him, whatever.....

However, you are not alone as you have stated in your post. You seem to care for your family. What you do may have its repercussions on your family, and they're all negative.

Sometimes Its just best to step away, dont try to prove how strong you are, how weak he is, how much more of a man you are. This day in age, that can really come back to hurt/haunt you.

Think about your girl and your wife before you do anything dumb.

I really appreciate the words and sentiment. It makes alot of sense and i am trying to calm down. I can understand arguing but when you threaten someones family (especially when one is a 2 year old boy with a heart problem) that crosses the line. I understand that it would be stupid and would only adversely affect my family but what can i do? I was calming down until about an hour ago when my a$$hole wife blurted out a quote about him being a "ex" drug dealer and if i do anything i should worry. That pissed me off even more. I think i am going to go the legal way and report it to the fbi/authorities for terroristic threats.I don't want to come off as a rat but what can i do? It's my family...

If it was simply done as a response to you getting on his ass, Id say hold off, if you report it, it just might get worse.
