<This day and age as low as a 2k(lower many places in Vegas) wager will move the line, even on an NFL playoff game.
A similar bet at the likes of CRIS, GRANDE, etc, etc seldom will..................but a 2k at many, many more offshore shops I also play at wlll more than often move the line.
Here in Vegas, and saying this in a modest tone only because it is being discussed, on the Carolina game alone a wager I placed on the game moved the line at the Coasts, Golden Nuggett, Stations, and Aliante, as most any type of wager I partake with these four day in and day out will do.........many other Vegas outs are similar.
The few Vegas books that move the lines far, far, far less often on wagers of 3k or less in the NFL would include the LVH, CANTOR, CEASERS, and MIRAGE(in fact, made 3k bet at Mirage on CAR game and line remained the same).
Books such as Coasts, Golden Nugget, Treasure Island, Wynn, Stratosphere, South Point, and Stations will move the line on 90% of the wagers they take from me over the course of a years time....................
The Nugget, Aliante, and Stations are three good books for off numbers, at times on some events, limits can be low....................the Golden Nugget had a cbb total FIVE pts off yesterday, glad they only took a nickel, as it lost by ten points...ugh!
