on dan patrick they said that 70% of the playoff games have been blowouts (17 or more points) since it all started. people making that argument dont realize that the majority of the games arent actually competitive.

They give Coastal, Liberty, another BS selection, should’ve given them Cincy for a battle of unbeatens on NYear’s Day if you’re gonna leave them out...
Speaking of Notre Dame, there’s a scene in Rudy where the players walk into Devine’s office and layout their Jerseys for Rudy. Numerous teams in the Country need to do this for Army and offer up their bowl spots...

Yea, and I’ve watched the 2-8 South Carolina games all season, with most of their best players now opting out. Much bigger no thank you.
At 9-2, they deserve it, and even more so considering everyone of those players is willing to die for every single person watching them play...
Tennessee just opted out of the Liberty Bowl.
I hope so too, if not, they most definitely deserve to play somewhere.
