Lots of favorites today....is this usual for this system?

Yes...most of my handicapping tends to go with favorites. That's where I find the value.

I know that goes against what most people are taught...but it has more to do with the way I look for value.

I'm not sure I'm finding any value with these picks though...I'm just watching for now.

Do not assume this system has anything to do with the NBA system or that it will be successful.

I'm still trying to build this system.

MJ, when are we going to see some beer money picks on the college hoops scene?? Im just sayin...you're on fire on the NBA side

Can't do it...what I do in NBA does not transfer to NCAAB.

NFL does not transfer to NCAAF.

I wish it did.

Fair enough. Best of luck.

System is showing to be about .500 so far. 0-3 to start the day. UCONN winner. Arizona State and Northern Arizona will come through

It's starting to look like a fade system. Maybe we should flip it over and fade all the picks.

Hitting 61% that way...I'm not proud...I don't give a damn how we do it.

<table class="data" id="ctrl_leaderboard_dgContestLeaders" style="border-collapse: collapse;" border="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr class="my-stats"><td class="center">9-14-0 </td><td> 39.13% </td><td> -3200 </td><td> = 14-9 61% ATS as a fade
</td></tr></tbody></table>

I was already thinking about that myself. But I think it is still to early to tell. Give it a few more weeks.

Keep posting the picks MJ. if it's a good fade, then it's a good system.

One thing is for sure. We need to know which way you post them so we don't fade the fade.

I say we get back on the Costanza money train like last year and stay there.

I know this is a basic question...but what does it mean to "fade/fade picks/fade a system" ? I see it all over the forums...I have a clue to what it means, but im not quite sure. Could someone explain it to me?

thanks

Fade means picking the opposite of what that specific capper/system tells you to pick.

I'll keep running the system as it is. I agree it is too early to tell one way or another yet.

I may have started this too early...and now it will heat up. We really do not know.

No picks qualify today.

I hope it heats up, would be nice to have a few more good picks each day to inflate the bankroll even more

It means play the opposite. So if MJ's college system only wins say 40%, fading it would actually win 60%.

One pick today. Just to be clear...I'm still running the original system.

NCAAB

Tuesday, February 3

<table class="thepicks"><tbody><tr class="datahead"> <td width="32%">Game</td> <td width="15%">Score</td> <td width="15%">Status</td> <td width="29%">Pick</td> <td width="9%">Amount</td> </tr> <tr class="firstline"> <td> Mississippi St. </td> <td> - </td> <td>7:00 PM ET</td> <td>Kentucky -10</td> <td>500</td> </tr> <tr> <td> Kentucky </td> <td> - </td> <td> </td> <td> </td> <td> </td></tr></tbody></table>
Play em or fade em...I wouldn't suggest either yet. :think2:
