anyway, if ya read my post , many know I usually do better if I add a write up with my plays, trying to give some reasoning behind my plays, .....my 2 sendouts again went 1-1 , Pitt was ahead 1st half, and they kind of fell apart mid way through 2nd half, and really never regained the lead.....both teams took exactly 60 shots, both teams only made 5 3 pointers, it was pretty much free throws that got them, as they only took 13 ft's , while Wisconsin too 22 making 18 , they got 9 fewer attempts, and made 8 fewer ft's and lost by 6....
But Drake did come through winning outright by 11, beating a good Vandy team, in a game where they were leading at halftime and in the 2nd half pulled away by even more, in a game where both teams took 54 shots, both teams only made like 5 or fewer 3's, and both teams took the same amount of ft's or close to it, actually Vandy took 24 making 18 and Drake took 20 making 18, diff in this game was the shooting as Drake shot 53.7% to 44% , and Drake controlled the boards with 37 rebounds to 20 for Vandy....Drake played well beating a team that had been playing really well and beating some good teams
then this afternoon I added some plays and did write ups on them, and did really well , 1st off the one I lost Longwood+8.5 not much I can say about that game except that Longwood ran into a very hot shooting McNeese state team, and that will happen, you just hope its your team that shoots 61.8% , McNeese was 34/55 shooting, and they only made 4 3 pointers tonight, and Longwood made 7, Longwood even took 10 more ft's like I hoped they would, and they made more 3's but its hard to beat or even cover when a team shoots that well, you make 8 more ft's, you make 3 more 3's, your even in rebounds, and you lose by 15, my point being if McNeese even shoots like 50% Longwood maybe loses by 4-5 points tops, points being my handicapping I think was dead on, they held McNeese to just 4 made 3's, just did not expect 62% shooting from Mcneese st
then I did one on Liberty, and they ended up winning outright by 2 in a very close game , Liberty took the lead with about 1 min to go in the 1st half and they kept the lead the rest of the game except for twice in the 2nd half where Kansas st tied it 50-50 and later at 55, but besides that Liberty kept making shots, and that's very hard to do in tight games , where a team finally ties it and yet they answer, both teams shot about 45% , but like I wrote Liberty did defend the 3 well last night holding Kansas st to 29% from 3 while they shot it at 45% and Liberty also does not foul a lot, and Kansas st only took 5 ft's and Liberty only took 14 that's not a lot for a game, .......... and Texas st who I parlayed them with also won out right as a 3.5 pt dog, I did not post a write up on them but I could have, they were a good play also
then I wrote about Montana st -6 or 7 and that was dead on too, just scroll up, I had much more written down , but Mont st is a good basketball team, and they should do well in their conf this year, but they have been on the road and playing decent teams, from bigger conferences and had played well but did not win every game, and I thought since they were finally at home playing a D-1 school that they would do well, and maybe win big, and that's exactly what they did winning by 20, both teams took 56 shots, but they held S.Miss to 35% shooting while they shot 50%, and Mont st made 10 3's but took 9 more, and actually S Miss took 5 more ft's and made 3 more, and even had more offensive rebounds, but Mont st had 6 fewer turnovers and 6 more assist and just shot better, but a 20 pt win is what I had expected when I said a big win .......
and even adding the live play on the OVER in the Delaware game when it was 11-11 I was wanting to bet Delaware and the OVER, and just forgot and seen it went off, so had to bet it about 5 mins into it, and decided to just bet the over 149 I think I wrote 147 but that's what the Over was originally I got it at 149 and it went wayyy over and Delaware won 100-94
so on my last games I put in I did well tonight, winning Liberty, Texas st, the OVER Delaware game, and Drake, but losing Longwood it did help make up for the crappy earlier part of the day where I did end up being on teams that seemed to be the popular plays, st John's, Maryland, and HighPoint, ...and yes did have write ups on Maryland and a small one on Highpoint, but did go against many and took Rhode Island and did a very detailed write up on them, as I told some friends I need to find more games like Rhode Island who were up 30 at half....lol
