I'm an SEC man, and agree 100% with Sammy, UF has an "ole" defense, and as tourney chalk should be chased, as despite their reputation as an offensive program, it doesn't have shooters but rather scorers this year, and are smallish on interior versus teams with bangers on the blocks, yet look for them to bounce back a bit in coming weeks from recent defection & losses..Donovan heckuva young coach.

All SEC teams make for bad chalk this Spring, as this year all top 7 teams count on one or two main scorers, I'll be looking to take Mid-Majors plus points, if they have a lockdown defensive player or two in player matchups..case in point LSU with banged-up star forward & bad free throw shooting squad(a go-against as chalk come tourney time).

Bubbles?..ND shouldn't make it, also the Big-10 & Big-12 shouldn't be given the lion's shares they normally accrue, yet the ACC & SEC should get 7 this March due to great balance & conference RPI.

Gonzo will be chalk & not an upstart, but hey the lines involving them have been shorted for years now, and sorry to say Rail, but I'll be taking those inflated Stanford numbers, as they may win, but will be life-and-death as usual in most games after their easy opener.

No way Oklahoma should be in this year, particulary if they lose to Colorado tonight... That team is horrible on offense and away from home they are terrible. If they do get in it will be a very favorable matchup for whoever plays them.

OKLAHOMA = OUT

Lander,

With all due respect coach Quinn should be fired. Mizzou is perhaps the most talented underacheiving team in the country. Plus the Ricky Clemmons scandal. I live here in Missouri and know the details, it is ugly.

Mizzou blew a 9 point lead last night because of some bad coaching, they got careless on offense and stopped feeding the ball to Johnson in the post. On several occasions Snyder should have called a timeout and set up a play in the last 4 minutues. Then, down 3 with 30 seconds left in regulation they were trying desperation 3 pointers, instead of getting 2 and fouling - poor coaching, they were lucky to make one.

The fact the Quinn Snyders teams don't play well until February each year further proves that coach Quinn does not prepare his teams to play early in the season. I am sorry there is no excuse for losing to Belmont at the Hearnes Center with that talent - they were simply not ready and motivated to play that game and sevearl others earlier this year = coaches fault.

That said I hope Mizzou gets in and that was a great win last night. If they win 2 of their next 3, they will be looking good to make it.

I didnt' see the game last night, but this is an excellent point - "The fact the Quinn Snyders teams don't play well until February each year further proves that coach Quinn does not prepare his teams to play early in the season."

I always looked at it as Synder was making his team better as the season goes on, but I guess compared to Michigan St Synder looks like an ametuer.

Ok, well at least he still has nice hair

Michigan St deserves to be in, tough schedule at the beginning of the season and now pull out wins that I wouldn't have believed earlier this season based on their performance.
