I have recorded ONLY Sports Center once and that was to see highlights of the no-hitter by Gio...I won’t watch Sports Center live anytime soon

I fast forward through the NBA.

Unless they show drastic changes next year I may never watch NBA again...

Until people “speak up” by not watching in person or TV or do whatever to impact the bottom line, very little will change

There used to be a requirement that HS athletes had to attend a year or two of college to be draft eligible. When that went away, you now see the result of great basketball players, like LeBron, without the ability to express themselves without being scripted by handlers. There are many thoughtful, capable, well-spoken NBA players, but they are not superstars so the league is saddled with their intellectually challenged stars being manipulated by childhood friends, corporate influence, China and worst of all, social media.

there is still a requirement that HS players have to attend college for a year.

However it was not a requirement when it was Lebron’s time to join the league.

I kinda wish players went to school for at least 2 years. It became a $$ issues where busts were getting paid CRAZY $$

The irony is amazing. You guys continue to bring your politics into a sports gambling forum and then complain when athletes do the same thing on their platform.

The truth is, you don't mind them bringing in politics. The problem is they aren't bringing in your politics.

I somewhat agree with you. People like Hotpizza who aren't happy with what the players and leagues are doing, need to just turn off the NBA and other major league sports and completely forget about it. These athletes and sports leagues need to have their status reduced. The best way to make that happen is to quit supporting their product.

I'm hopeful the owners lose enough money that they're forced to lockout the players.
