Before this season re-started I posted about the Black Lives Matter logo on the court and the "slogans" on the back of the jerseys.

I stated it will just piss people off and ratings will tank. People watch sports to get away from it all, not have things jammed down their throats.

People were in agreeance of this.

When Cannon Hinnant the five year white boy was shot and killed riding his bike in front of his home by Darrius Sessoms a black man, you didn't hear anything from the NBA players regarding this. They didn't get upset, up in arms or even denounce it.

If they truly cared, they would've said something, anything, even if one player said how terrible it was.

They say they support black lives, people don't know what it's like to be a black man? The question is but do they?

These guys are making multi millions and live a totally different lifestyle than those they say they support. Look back when games were played in front of crowds, who was there in the stands supporting the team? Who was buying the merch, the concessions, paying for parking...……. was it a 90% black crowd? Not even in the heavily populated black cities was it anywhere near 10% black.

If black lives rally mattered, where's the statements on blacks killing blacks in Chicago, New York, Detroit, Philadelphia, LA and other large black communities. You hear NOTHING regarding this because it doesn't fit their agenda. It's only when a white person kills a black or a white cop kills a black man.

If you've done nothing wrong, why are you running in the first place. 99.9% of people aren't scared of the cops. The lies being told are so sickening it's a joke.

Kenny "The Jet" Smith walks off the TNT set because he's lost for words. Do your fucking job Kenny, grow a set, you are a privileged black man with a college degree. Are you really that stupid to think that by you walking off that is going to do anything.
Did it make a statement? if so to who?

Players walking out and not playing, fire their asses. If you are a working person and tomorrow you went to work and said fuck it, I am tired of this shit, I am out of here. Stop shooting black people, do you think your boss or company is going to stand for it and allow it? Hell no! It happens one time, then everyone does it.

In closing, I hope the Nigerian Bullshit League is done for the season. I won't have to see commercials, I won't have to see lowlights on sportscenter, I won't have to see Lebron and his hats or his diatribe.

As for MLB, please shut down too, we don't need your crap either.

NHL and NASCAR is where it is now, no bs, no forced crap down your throat.

These "players" need to get off their high horse and get back to reality, they are nothing but cynical people that think they can make an impact on people's lives when it comes to causes and politics.

Note to players...……. movie "stars" in Hollywood who said they were moving to Canada and abroad if Trump was elected in 2016, not one of them moved anywhere...…

Get a fucking clue dipsticks...……..

The irony is amazing. You guys continue to bring your politics into a sports gambling forum and then complain when athletes do the same thing on their platform.

The truth is, you don't mind them bringing in politics. The problem is they aren't bringing in your politics.

I wonder what Magic, Jordan, Miller and Thomas would say or do if they were still playing today. I doubt any of them would go the route of James.

That swirling noise you hear is the NBA going around and down the ring of the toilet bowl.

Note to crudebar - this area hasn't been about sports gambling for years now and never will be again.

Also amazing. It began with, James won't speak out if it effects his money, and today it was James will let the other teams quit because rings>blm.

Then Jame's team votes to quit season.

Then it's "o Jordan and Magic would have stayed and collected the money so that makes them better" I also believe this isn't true but the irony in your argument is amazing.

Yes, because ur ilk ruined it. All of you politics guys should have been banned years ago. Now it's too late because all that is left.

This use to be the twoplustwo version for sports betting. Got destroyed by poor ownership along with mods that couldn't see the forest before the trees. Its unfortunate. Shrink had built something truly successful.

What? They voted to continue the season. If they wanted to "fuck the nanny" they could have simply voted to not resume this year.

Do you know what an infinity stone is? I sadly do :(

I never said any of what you typed, I simply asked a question on what they would do. I never answered the question because I don't know what they would do. There's no argument in a question asked. Just you trolling.

The Bucks’ George Hill said he was sorry that he ever came to the bubble. Asked how he felt, Hill said “I mean, just sickening. It’s heartless.”

On Monday, following Milwaukee’s Game 4 victory, Hill told reporters, “You’re supposed to look at the police to protect and serve, and now it’s looked at harass and shoot. To almost take a guy’s life — thank God he’s still alive. I know the cops are probably upset that he’s alive because I know they surely tried to kill him — but to almost take a man’s life, especially in front of his kids, that wasn’t resisting and his back at point-blank range, is a heartless and gutless situation, and we need some justice for that.”

Dear George,

How did Cannon Hinnants siblings feel when they saw him shot by Darrius Sessoms while riding his bike as a 5 year old?

Nevemind George it doesn't fit your narrative, now go back to your mansion and your millionaire life.

Yep little white boy gets killed, nothing happens but the cops kill a ghetto clown and all hell breaks lose. It’s just a race thing with these guys and they all follow the leader if not they get black balled.

Today’s world sports = politics. Sports keep jumping in politics and therefore sports fans get wrangled into politics. And sports talk gets cluttered with politics. It’s rammed down your throat at every turn. And this is why people are talking sports and politics in the same sentence. Sure, many folks get mad because opinions don’t match theirs. But in today’s world only one opinion can be expressed and that’s all you hear.

Will even one person express faults upon even both parties? If one person came out and said “ we wouldn’t be repeating this cycle if Mr. Blake simply complied with officers, and an officer wouldn’t of had to even pull his gun if so. I’m not sure why Mr. Blake resisted compliance, got tased twice, got tackled by 2 cops and still got up with a knife or not and continued doing what HE WANTED to do. At some point we have to hold Mr. Blake accountable for this situation. His actions are a cause of what happened.” First person to say that is crucified racist and likely has a lost job.

Now as far as Lebrun James, he ain’t happy. Here are 2 references

NBA player #1 (Veteran non superstar) “If it’s not Kings idea and he isn’t front and center of the cause, then he ain’t really about it” “It’s his spotlight that matters but he wasn’t in control of the idea and is outnumbered and too late to the part let’s say!”

NBA player #2 (Veteran very high profile star has super close ties to King) “This wasn’t LB’s called shot, 2-3 days and back on the court if he had the say. Majority of guys want to play but social clout is calling. LB doesn’t have a strong following with most players. LB is about business and image bottom line. He’s burned more bridges than he should have. All players, management, staff etc are a part of LB’s Circle. On the outside looking in while only a select few are in it. And even then it’s his world or move along. Old heads and grasshoppers don’t care too much for LB behind closed doors.”

Personally I could care less if NFL never played. Not because of some knee. Never cared if they did or didn’t. Always having it a talking point got old. But the reason I watch less NFL is because the product sucks. Flag after flag. Catch no catch. Review after review.
