Jason Kidd will reportedly not play on Friday as he continues to rest in preparation for the playoffs. Kidd's meager offensive output dropped off even further in March, when he averaged just 7.1 points on 35% shooting. In his absence, the Mavs will rely upon J.J. Barea and Roddy Beaubois for extra PG duties. Apr. 8 - 6:41 p.m. ET Source: Bryan Gutierrez on Twitter
Tracy McGrady will start at point guard for the Pistons on Friday. T-Mac was a DNP-CD on Wednesday and there's no telling what John Kuester will do next. If you own McGrady go ahead and start him, but he recently tweaked his right wrist and we're none too confident about his role on a nightly basis. The Pistons will be without Will Bynum on Friday, as he recovers from a calf injury he suffered on Wednesday. Rodney Stuckey will come off the bench behind Tracy McGrady but should have solid value with Bynum out of the picture. If you're still scrapping toward the fantasy finish line, dump Bynum for a healthy player. Apr. 8 - 6:32 p.m. ET Source: Dave Pemberton on Twitter
Joakim Noah is starting for the Bulls on Friday. He's not fully healthy due to a sore ankle and could see his minutes limited, but is in the starting five against the Cavs. Apr. 8 - 7:37 p.m. ET
Despite Avery Johnson saying earlier in the day that Anthony Morrow would play on Friday, he is out again with his sore knee. Mario West - that's right - Mario West is starting in his place tonight. Apr. 8 - 7:10 p.m. ET
Andrew Bynum, who is dealing with "intestinal flu symptoms" is on the team bus and it sounds like he'll give it a try tonight for the Lakers. Lamar Odom played through it last week and it looks like Bynum may do the same tonight. Apr. 8 - 7:49 p.m. ET Source: Mike Bresnahan on Twitter
