Darko Milicic (ankle) is scheduled to start for the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night against Phoenix. Milicic was averaging just 8.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game over his last ten before he went down, so his return shouldn't be earth shattering news for fantasy owners. Coach Avery Johnson said that he will update the status of Deron Williams (wrist) at Friday's shootaround. D-Will didn't make the trip to Detroit, and it's very much up in the air as to whether or not he'll play another game this season. His owners may not be able to afford to wait for the news, but we're advising a holding pattern until we get a clearer picture of exactly what's going on. Jordan Farmar will get the start in his place on Wednesday night. Apr. 6 - 6:40 p.m. ET Source: Colin Stephenson on Twitter
Anthony Morrow (knee) will sit out Wednesday's game against Detroit. Morrow has been battling tendinitis in his knee and said that he hopes to play on Friday against New York. Owners can't afford to gamble on a maybe at this point in the season, and a string of zeroes across the board may be the difference in winning a championship this week. Sasha Vujacic figures to play a big role once again in Morrow's absence. Apr. 6 - 6:37 p.m. ET Source: Al Iannazzone on Twitter
Tyson Chandler (back) is out on Wednesday night against the Nuggets. This is somewhat discouraging news given the fact that he practiced in back-to-back days, but Chandler said he wouldn't return until he was 100% and it appears as if he's staying true to his word. He should be back before too long, but at this point in the season he's nowhere near being a must-own player if there's a hot free agent available. Apr. 6 - 7:15 p.m. ET Source: Earl K. Jason Kidd (rest) will not play in Wednesday's game against the Nuggets. Kidd was expected to get some rest down the stretch and it's coming exactly as advertised. J.J. Barea and Roddy Beaubois figure to both see an increase in value with the veteran sidelined, and our guess is that Barea winds up with the better line by night's end. Dwight Howard picked up his 18th technical of the season on Wednesday night against the Bobcats. Howard was hit with the call when he was whistled for a ten second violation at the free throw line. It's a call that rarely gets made, but Dwight felt that he was clearly an unfair victim. With the Magic locked into the four seed in the East and the big man needing rest before the postseason, it's not the end of the world that he might miss the next game against Chicago on Sunday. However, it's an absolutely crushing blow to fantasy owners unless this one somehow gets rescinded; and that's rather unlikely. Apr. 6 - 8:04 p.m. ET Source: Mike Cranston on Twitter
Chauncey Billups left Wednesday's game with a right thigh contusion suffered in a collision with Elton Brand. He'll finish with just three points on 1-of-7 shooting and is presumably day-to-day. Hopefully we'll have more information later tonight, but as of now, Toney Douglas is a guy worth grabbing in case this injury shuts Billups down. Apr. 6 - 8:41 p.m. ET Source: Steve Adamek on Twitter
