Rudy Gay was not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Thunder, with Tony Allen taking his place. We're guessing this was related to the back injury he suffered Monday night, but this really came out of left field. He was listed in the starting lineup all the way up until tip-off, and somebody pulled the plug on him in the last second. We'll let you know as soon as we learn more. Feb. 8 - 8:28 p.m. ET
The second opinion that Eric Gordon sought for his injured wrist on Tuesday produced no change in his status, which had a timetable of 3-4 weeks for his return starting from Jan. 25. That would put him back somewhere between Feb. 15 to Feb. 22, and both Gordon and his owners have to be thrilled that two independent sources have checked off on this. Look for a new timetable to emerge now that this necessary step has been taken. Feb. 8 - 8:07 p.m. ET Source: Lisa Dillman on Twitter
John Salmons will start Tuesday's game against the Raptors, with Carlos Delfino heading to the bench, as coach Scott Skiles wants to "take some pressure" off of Delfino. Let's call this 'Exhibit A' in the list of reasons not to deal with most Milwaukee Bucks. As usual, we'll sit down and watch how it plays out, but we don't expect consistency out of either guy anytime soon. Feb. 8 - 8:01 p.m. ET Source: Milwaukee Bucks on Twitter
Wesley Johnson and Nikola Pekovic started for injured Michael Beasley (ankle) and Darko Milicic (hip) on Tuesday against the Rockets. Johnson, in particular, should have owners' attention due to his talent and upside, independent of any time missed by Beasley. He was held in check on Monday, despite Beasley's exit, but offered borderline production over the past three weeks -- and he could end up being a hot commodity by the end of the night.
