Nets power forward Troy Murphy recently had an X-ray and MRI on his sore right foot -- both were negative and he is considered day-to-day. In the meantime, Kris Humphries was very effective in 40+ minutes on Wednesday, and the Nets can slightly expand Derrick Favors' role off the bench. The Nets don't play again until Saturday so it's possible Murphy won't miss any more games. Nov. 11 - 3:49 p.m. ET Source: Al Iannazzone
Hawks forward Marvin Williams (knee) practiced on Thursday and could return for Friday's game vs. the Jazz. "I’m doing better," said Williams. "I’m not hobbling around too much. It still hurts, but I’m pretty excited. As long as nothing happens tonight, I will try to give it a go tomorrow depending on how it feels." That's not exactly an iron-clad guarantee, but he's a week ahead of schedule so we'll cut him some slack. Nov. 11 - 4:38 p.m. ET Source: Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Jonny Flynn (hip) is targeting Wednesday's game against the Clippers for his season debut. With Luke Ridnour (hamstring) considered week-to-week, Flynn should be on a roster in all formats at this point. He should get plenty of burn as the point guard of the future even if he ends up in a timeshare with Ridnour. Flynn's return will also end the brief fantasy relevance of Sebastian Telfair. Flynn has 15 points, five assists upside to go with a three and a steal. Nov. 11 - 4:38 p.m. ET Source: NBA.com
David Lee (elbow) will not play in Thursday's matchup with the Bulls. This one comes as a surprise. Lee caught a Wilson Chandler tooth in his elbow on Wednesday, but all signs indicated he would be okay to play on Thursday. Nov. 11 - 6:20 p.m. ET Source: K.C. Johnson on Twitter
